Can You Explain To Me What Happens During A "Well Woman" Exame?
can someone please explain what occurs during that exame girls budge for when they turn eighteen? my mom tried to explain it but i still am really scared. im seventeen and am fearful. she said that they poke through the tissue and you bleed. i am scared of anguish and blood. can anyone please offer some comfort and transmit me what it feels similar to and what happens? i would really appriciate it. im resembling so freaked out already!Answers: It'l be o.k. She is probably referring to getting your pap smear, which really isn't painful, of late a bit uncomfortable. Most GYNs are sensitive when doing the exam - the ones that be the best for me were women. The bleeding is not that much, merely a bit of spotting. Nothing to worry roughly.
It is very simple and not fearsome at all, a short time ago something not common to you. Basically they do a breast exam, check your ovaries and do vaginal cultures. I enjoy had tons exams and as long as the dr is gentle in attendance should be NO pain. If for some sense they are rough don't hesitate to enlighten them to be gentle. Remember you are paying them not vice versa.

Well, i never hear it called a "Well woman exam" but anything :)
You basically run, meet the doc and he'll explain everything first. He'll pass you a robe and make sure you hold no breast cancer.
Then youll sit in a bench and put your feet within this thing-its meant to spread your legs for comfort.
The subsequent part seem a little grim, but from what ive hear its no big deal.... the doc necessarily sticks this thing "contained by you" (Im sure you know what im talking about) He take a few samples from your cervix and looks around. Thats roughly speaking it, really.
Trust me-ive been reading greatly about it..... my girlfriend is going for her first one soon and shes afraid as well. Its something you may not resembling, but its NEEDED.

How can I receive my sex drive pay for?
I'm 20 years old, and within the last few months my sex drive have died. I miss it a lot. I purely got started on a bright birth control (which is NOT helping, but there's nothing I can do just about that for 3 months), but my sex drive was gone back then.. I wasn't on any meds, don't hold kids and am not pregnant. I am getting enough sleep - I can't function unless I capture at least 8 hours of sleep a hours of darkness.I told my boyfriend and I think he understand..he hates it a moment ago as much as I do. We both miss having sex.
I basically don't understand why it died.. and I own no idea how to take it back. Suggestions?

What does my breasts hurt after my interval ened 3-4 days ago?
i thought i was pregnant until i get my period and its 3 or 4 days then after my period concluded and im still very tired and peeing alot but the foremost thing is my breast they are STILL fuller, sore,and sweet.this is very strange cuz about a week or smaller quantity b4 my period my breast start to hurt (pms) but they started hurting a lil more than 2 weeks b4 my spell started which was process too early for me and it other goes away within the middle of my period but my spell ended 4 days ago and they are still sore i never have this b4.it was a usual period i guess, it wasnt as brawny and i discharged more brown stuff longer than usual so i dont know whats wrong. i didnt take a preg oral exam cuz i got my length so...........................help me pleaseAnswers: It can sometimes give somebody a lift a day or two for the hormone level to go stern down to normal even after the length is over for some women (I've met a few this has happen to) but I would recommend checking with your doctor as resourcefully to see what they say.

Answers: maybe don't mention the birth control, only just tell your dad that you've be having really impossible periods and want to stir see a gynecologist to make sure nearby isn't anything wrong. when you go for your exam a short time ago tell the doctor what's be going on and that you wanted to look into perchance getting on birth control to help next to your periods. when i go to my first gyn appointment a few years ago and mentioned that i was have really bad cramps, my doctor suggested birth control lacking me even bringing it up. you shouldn't have any trouble getting on birth control and only tell your dad that your doctor wishes you to start taking it. it's really no different than any other prescription a doctor prescribes for you.

But, most premed students will foremost in biology or chemistry but you can primary in anything you want. you will stipulation to take lots of science classes to stumble upon the prereqs though, so that is why most basically go near the bio major, make it easier. discuss this with someone contained by your counselling center or science dept. Okay, so for the past year or two Ive be wearing a push up bra thats a 34 D cup. Ive been told that a push up bra is other a size smaller than the actual cup size that it is listed as.I'm pretty sure that im in reality a 34 C cup. But then somtimes when I wear a 34 C, its of late not big enough.
It seem as though im inbetween a C and a D. I'm also done growing and so they wont be filling out any more. I'm kinda of certain for having bigger boobs and I'm afraid that if I move down to a C cup, population will wonder if I stuffed or something.
Soooo what should I do?! Stick with the push up D cup, or conceivably go to a C cup?

Answers: Sometimes it not the cup size that you need to tuning, but the area around. Also, different bras fit differently than others. Your best bet is to dance in for a proper fitting at a central department store. Over 90% of women wear the wrong bra size.
Also, your breasts dont stop fully developing until your mid twenties.
I wear a 34B push up bra, but when I tried on a 34B non push up it was too tight.. which is unusual, it should be the other way around surrounded by what your saying.
different bras own different makes, so you simply have to try different ones on and wear anything is comfortable for you

To walk on the pill or not to?
I've been on it past, when I had a steady boyfriend. I go off of it when we broke up. We used condoms adjectives the time, and they never slipped off or broke.I havent have sex with anyone since, but if I do we will be using a condom. There is this guy and we might be have sex soon but we are not dating yet, should I purely use a condom or should I go on the birth control (which take a month to kick in) but we could be over by later because I dont know when and if we will start dating soon.
Answers: It sounds like you prefer to be immensely, very sure...and you did OK on the pill...within which case I guess you COULD turn on the pill. I don't know, I'm always confident next to a condom until further birth control issues are discussed. Would you feel resembling it was a leftovers of time to go on the pill if you weren't have sex?

Will Yaz (birth control) lend a hand a hormone discrepancy?
Ever since I started high arts school (I'm now contained by college), I've gotten light coat in places that should not enjoy hair (yeah, it's unusual and it really bugs the hell out of me). It's one, and my only symptom, of a hormone inequity. I'm just getting to know Yaz. I've never be on any birth control before and I be curious to know whether taking Yaz may improve that hormone inequality or make it worse since it have some male hormones. And should I in recent times go to the doctors and seize a separate pill to cure the hormone imbalance? Thanks.Answers: what can minister to with an hormonal inconsistency is to exercise, you don't have to run or be in motion to a gym if you don't like that, you can freshly go for a way of walking every day, or do any big-hearted of exercise for about an hour a year. the reason exercise help with the hormonal inequality is because when your muscles are being worked they start to adopt insulin more effectively, and so the pancreas doesn't need to pump out so much insulin surrounded by order to control blood sugar level. you see the scientists aren't exactly sure why, but insulin stimulates the ovaries to produce more androgens, which is thus the hormonal imbalance.
also, try if you want to to chomp through foods that are low g.i, which means that they won't be digested so at the double and prompt your pancreas to work overtime to pump out so much insulin to control the rush of blood sugar.
but to answer your question, i hear that yaz pills have low level of hormones, but i also read that birth control pills only serve to appropriate over your hormones, when you stop them the same behind the times problem will be back unless you do some other things to stability your hormones. good luck. x
Don't use a birth control pill to sort out hormonal imbalance!! it will only produce matters worse within the long run. My doctor gave me the pill 16 years ago to "regulate" my extent and ever since coming off the pill I hold suffered from massive hormonal imbalance, worse than the one my Doc tried to sort contained by the first place - including hair growing within places it shouldn't.
Instead, try and adjust your diet, including plenty Omega 3 which is necessary for proper hormonal functioning. You can also try a supplement call "agnus castus" (also known as"vitex" and "chasteberry"). It works on the pituary gland and regulates your hormones but it will steal up to 3 month to work.
In any case, organic solutions are better than man-made hormones which can mess your system up completely and may cause problems beside your libido in the long permanent status (and trust me - you don't want a low libido).

Yaz is wonderful for women who have PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). I myself am on Yaz strictly for the PMDD. As for a hormonal inconsistency that causes the spine growth, it won't do anything for that. You need to look into what is cause it, I do know that it's a symptom of PCOS. Bloodwork should be ordered to find out what is happening.
How long should i skulk?
I had a uti at the time i should enjoy started my pd this month... I asked a nurse friend of mine if the uti could have cause me to miss my pd.... she said it doesn't usually effect your pds and that i should take a pg trial... i have also hear that it has (somehow) effect some people's pds... so i wanted to ask anyone if this have happened to you... and if so, how long be it before you started your pd again or did it not effect your pd?Answers: I've have several UTIs, fortunately they were never during a term. One should not affect the other. If you're not on the pill, there are lots things that could've delayed your period. It could be pregnancy. Yes, I won't falsehood. But there are a dozen other things. Stress is a main cause. Change within environment or weather can also cause you to skip your extent. Change in hormones will affect that as all right.
If you're sure you're not pregnant, then try to relax. Take a nice hip bath. Force yourself to relax, if at all possible. If nil works, go to a doctor and see what they read out. Good Luck.

I am a 21 year old feminine I got on birth control surrounded by June of this year and I recently switched the type of pill contained by august because the other pills where making me sick. I enjoy for the last two months received two period a month I will come on for about four to five days and later I will be off for a week after Ill come back on for close to five more days. My period are really unhealthy now. I enjoy recently changed my diet and start excersising. Could this be because of the things I kust metnioned or should I be in motion to the doctor.Answers: You need to discuss with your doctor and communicate him what is going on. He will probably put you on a different pill with a different combination of hormones. You are experiencing break through bleeding and that can end in you to have 2 period a month, once at your regular time and then again when you ovulate.
Yeah, see a doc in the order of this. I'm sure it's the pill you're on. It REALLY messes you up.

Ok I am stressing out because a few weeks ago my bf of 2 years and I had sex and it cause me pain contained by my abdomen afterwards for going on for 3 days. I went to the fam doc to find in rapid and he took urine and blood samples which come back fine. I also go for a transvaginal and pelvic ultrasound which also showed no signs of cysts. I am now freaking out because although the dull pain went away, when I enjoy sex with my bf it presently feels similar to he is hitting something when he did not before. I dont know if its create I am tensing up and it doesnt cause upper niggle like since its just discomfited. I am goin to the gyno tomorrow and am so scared it could be hpv or something. Woudl the ultrasound of found cancer or inflammation if it be that? Also what do you think could be cause this? I do have a tilted uterus but never have problems before so i really doubt its that! Pleaes facilitate and also could your cervix look inflammed on the ultrasound if you had hpv not wart but abnormal cell?Answers: I would quit stressin....really. HPV or PID would have be picked up on blood work or with physical exam. It could hold something to do with your tilted uterus, but your gyno is the one licensed to communicate you that. Cancer is picked up by blood work (most times from deformity contained by white blood cells, red blood cell, etc.) or by x-ray imaging (PET scan, CT scan, MRI) picking up on the lesions which most normally appear as hypo or hyperdense areas. I think that if you have a major problem, this would hold already been picked up on. You a moment ago recently started have sex, so you really dont know if that is your problem or not and I suspect that your tilted uterus have something to do with it, not to mention that your clean to the sex thing. I would simply relax and take it assured. Refrain from sex until after your exam. I really do not think you enjoy anything at all to verbs about. Hope this help to set you at ease some.
