Ive lately found out.....?

i have polycystic ovarian syndrome, doctors relate me that i may become semi infertile, is there anyone out near that has one and the same and what procedures you had to steal to get it cured....doctors share me nothin....

Answers: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) means tha the feedbck btween your womanly organs and your brain is broken. It is a heriditary problem- so obviously, women next to PCOS can get pregagant and enjoy children; its just more difficult.

Your ovaries do not ripened eggs properly, and the hormones are in the wrong ratio. The little sac the egg is contained by ripens, but the egg doesn't mature and nought pops the sace, so it just stays within, building up month after month, and the hormone that results when the sac pops doesn't happen.

There is no cure. There is no procedure.
You will be prone to shipment gain (around the middle), insulin resistance leading to diabetes, hackle growth on you face and belly, and infertility. You will own periods that variety from absent to so weighty you are sure you are dying.

You can get pregnant next to the right help, beside a fertility specialist.

You should be on Metformin, a drug that helps you use insulin more effectively and help with counterbalance.

You should watch your diet and try not to become overweight.

You might want to walk on the pill, so that the pill can control your hormones. If you do this, it will artifically do for you what your body can't do for itself.

It is a common problem, and mannish doctors dont take it tremendously seriously. Go to google or yahoo and search for PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome... in attendance is tons of information available.
I was diagnose beside P.O.S. a while ago. and they just found out is something else. but, permit me tell you my godmother have P.O.S. and she got pregnant, it be about 21 years ago short all this advanced technology and she get pregnant and had a newborn.
Are the doctors 100% sure that is POS? Make sure you obtain a second and a third opinion.. motivation it could be comething else. like i have, actually HAVE.
But dont verbs there are several woman today with POS and if truth be told there is resembling a foundation for it.
http://www.pcosupport.org/
read it so you can be informed.
but please go and acquire a second and a third opinion.!
Good luck, and if in that are any questios about this, please fell free to contact me.
I've be told the same lately recently aswell, and this is vastly weird because I be going to post a question roughly this too.

I've been really upset more or less the infertility thing aswell, so if you want to natter about it later just tolerate me know because i think we're going through one and the same thing! As for cures and such.. My mother told me near should be some sort of medication you can take since she looks after women at her work and she say some of them with this condition are competent to take medication to comfort them. I'm sorry I'm not much help but I thought I a short time ago had to reply because we're going through equal thing! Like I said dont tail off if you want to talk in the order of it!
Hi i have PCOS and i enjoy 2 children, some women with PCOS findit difficult to conceive especially if they are overweight (one of the horrible symptoms of pcos) relatively often your period are irregular or stop altogether, i have be prescribed Metformin and this has made my period very regular, it might be worth discussion to your doc or endocrinologist about this. I did hold a battle to draw from it prescribed as this was a few years ago and the docs fluency of pcos was terrifically limited. they come across to be much more clued up nowadays.

  • I hold a interview within the nouns of womans contraceptives..?

I'll explain myself a little. I am 28 yrs. mature, have 2 children, and i enjoy decided i do not want anymore children within the future. My husband desires me to get my tubes tied instead of him getting a vasectomy. (even though i own asked several doctors about visectomies, and they've stated that it is smaller number invasive for a man than for a woman to get her tubes tied.)

I cannot hold surgery to do that anyway, since i am a stay at home mom with my kids.. and do not own anyone to take thought of my kids for a surgery/recovery ect.

I'd have to right to be heard since having my son my period are irregular, i have pretty sever backpain/cramping/bloating/moodswings/se... sensitivity downstairs earlier & during my period are usually when it's most severe. It's pretty rough. I own every intention of discussing it with my doctor..

My question are these, what options do i own NON surgery wise for birth control?

Is in attendance anything out there that could minister to with my pms symptoms too?

Answers: I'm also surprised your husband would to some extent you get the operation than him...but anyway.

OK what others own you considered? Basically, other than the surgery, in that are hormone stuff, IUDs and barrier contraceptives.

I judge if you also have other problems, later you could try a hormonal birth control like birth control pills? They are commonly prescribed for women with time problems. There are also injections, patches and the NuvaRing. Definitely ask your doctor just about contraceptives and your periods.
Ask your dr. more or less IUD. It's really great. Hightly effective. If for some startling reason that you may adapt your mind and want more kids, then it's still an opportunity.
Talk to your dr about pms -- raise kids is very impressively stressful and dealing w/ pms at the same time is a miserable combo. Talk to dr give or take a few getting the lowest dose prescription for pms -
My husband doesn't want to talk vac. any...I really don't get it, why is it adjectives up to women to take watchfulness of the birth control. I know exactly where you are at..... GOD BLESS YOU.
U r right-vasectomy would be the better substitute vis a vis tubectomy ( many husbands I know are especially scared of operations) But laparascopic tubectomy would be a daytime -care procedure without much restrictions-but both of the above are irreversible procedures and ideally ur younger child should be above 5 yrs or at least 3 years ripened.
If your husband is not averse to using condoms-it could be another option.
Keeping surrounded by view your history of irregular and lashing periods IUCDs as suggested by others above may not be relevant for u.
In your case OCPs (pills) would do the trick of stabilising your periods-making u backache free and also give u contraception.
Do consult ur doc to settle on about the picky combination which will suit u and to see there are no other adverse factor in ur luggage. U can thus be on the pill for a few years and then settle on about a irretrievable measure.Take thought.

Answers: Hello! I have PCOS. Polycyst Ovary Syndrome. Basically, girls that don't enjoy regular periods are not competent to ovulate. • Please relief my interval is really large, im one and only 13 yrs antiquated.....?

Okay I am 13 and Ive had my term for about a year but tonight it is really stout which means it will be tomorrow (I can inform this fomr experience) but I am only allowed to wear pad and there isnt any tampons contained by the house anyway. I dont want to bring a purse and carry it around, not even at lunch! But I do keep hold of a purse with pad in my locker. I dont want to bring my purse bcuz when I do ppl stare at me and I HATE it! I'm to shy to stand up for myself on these areas so any suggestion on this??Also I usually wear two pads at like time (always:overnight pads) becasue you cant tell since they are spare but they hold alot, I think. So if I bled through one of them I hold a whole other wad for backup. plz tell me if you believe this is enough.
    thank you!

Answers: This should be plenty, but it might be kind of discomfited. My advice is to wear one wipe, and in the middle of one of your classes, ask the trainer if you can go to the bathroom. While you are on the instrument to the bathroom, stop by your locker, and then redeploy. If you ever worry in the order of leaking, hold a sweater with you, and if you trickle through your pants, lately tie your sweater around. It will be stylish, and no one will know! Good luck! :)
OK you are within middle school right? will what i do (i own a heavy flow to) is be unpaid to lunch so i can change the pad in the bathroom when no ones is n at hand and then i swing as soon as i get home or right beforehand i leave and i usually purloin a friend that knows in the order of my period so if anyone walk in they can flush the toilet so they can hear you or if you don't enjoy a friend with you lately wait until the other being leaves so they don't know who it is and always where on earth over night pad and don't where jeans they only just move the pad around and later you bleed where in that is not a pad (plus you can see the blood on the jeans) where on earth some black loose fitting pants that track if you bleed through you can just voice you were sweating and if you enjoy gym tomorrow move slow and try not to do all the work outs if you can and right after gym devolution your pads I hope this help and I know how it feels basically this week i bleed through and thank god i had black pant on well i hope this help honey be Strong and you will get through it

    *hugs*

  • Can i still hold?

i just started to use the nuva ring and i would close to to know if i could use a tampons and can i have sex. im asking because it dont give the impression of being like i can once i have put it in. oh i didnt enjoy sex yet and if i do can you speak about me how it wont be a discomfort.

Answers: There is a 3 hour time period when you are allowed to remove it for sexual intercourse, afterwards you have to reinsert it straight. I never had to use a tampon while I be using it, but I would assume you can. Make sure you insert it in adjectives the way, possibly even push it to the back a short time to make sure. I have trouble with it not staying contained by all the time so I stopped using it. But I also hold that trouble with tampons so I have a sneaking suspicion that it is more of a personal thing, not a "defect" of the Ring itself. It shouldn't be humiliated or painful at anytime, so if it is and no business what you do doesn't solve it, it just might not be the right method for you. Good luck! :)
The nuva ring is to prevent pregnancy, yes you can own sex and yes you can use a tampon. If you have discomfort, it isn't contained by properly and you should talk to your doctor. I would use a condom while have sex, to prevent STD's but also in-case it isn't in right.

  • When i'm on my interval i take HORRIABLE cramps...can you relief?

I get them so unpromising i can hardly breath i throw up alot and i cant hold any medicen down...but its singular the first day of my spell and im gotting close to starting like at any time so i wanna know what wrong and what some biddable ways are to get rid of them besides medicen i'll in recent times puke it up so thx for your help really

Answers: Well if I have these bad cramps, I would ask my doctor give or take a few certaian medications that you clutch through out the whole month, So you wouldn't puke, your interval would be alot lighter, and your cramps would be half as impossible.
Sorry I can't think of the label of it but you can google it: menstruation medication.
Also, here are some things that should help your cramps:

Exercise: walking is a upright exercise for cramps, during, before, and after your time.

Warm bath: A thaw out bath is other relaxing during your period and should abet with leg ache and cramps, along with heat pads.

Bananas: Bananas in reality lightned my period when I first get it, But since they dont anymore I eat them for my cramps, they're giant in potassium.

    I really hope this help!
    Good luck with everything :-)
you can budge to the doctors and ask for birth control. there are a few that shorten your time of year to only three days, in that are ones that lessen your period and I don`t know also lessen your symptoms.
are you in shape? do you excersize? if i run beside my period, it make me feel better, as curiously as that sounds... try to get some excersize, I don`t know eating better and getting into shape (if you aren't already) will oblige. getting into shape helped near mine. it made me feel better too.....
I know that seriously of my friends use to have discouraging cramping and their doctor put them on a birth control pill and that helped big time.
try heat pads and some hot tea. after this time passes, you should see your dr in the order of going on the pill. i used to have cramps so fruitless i couldnt walk. i go on 3 different pills before i found one that worked, presently i am on yaz and all i acquire is like a bit belly ache right back that lasts a few minutes. in attendance isnt much you can do right now except for try to relax and conceivably curl up with a stuffed animal or pillow on your belly (actually if you enjoy a dog or cat (live) curling up with them is other good, their body warmth will help and who doesnt resembling cuddling a puppy)
you may be like i be and have dysmenorrhea (very prickly cramps and other associated symptoms like vomitting, dizziness, fatigue, chills, hot flashes, and i even would lightheaded ). Talk with your doctor give or take a few this right away! I had to bring back on birth control at 17 yrs old because of that problem because over the counter meds werent staying down or working, and the hormones surrounded by birth control helped like mad.
well, i would try using a heat pad. caffeine help me so i drink lots of soda during that week. but i get bleak cramps, not quite to your extreme. but i nick ibuprophen and tyenol all hours of daylight to take the edging off, along near my caffeine. but see a doctor about it if zilch that anyone tells you works. apposite luck.
There are over the counter tablets you can buy like Ponstan at the chemist. which enjoy to be taken regularly. The Pill which is pretty radical treatment,Doctors dont prescribe the Pill for girls underneath 15..Other gentle treatments close to gentle exercise, thaw water lots and panadol. Bananas are also good. Cramps are usually the sign that you are getting your extent.

  • Do i hold a UTI? my symptoms!?

    1) i have to pee at most minuscule twice an hour, and when i do its barely anything. and it burns.
    2) my urine is clear usually, but sometimes pale
    3) i have have protected sex in former times month
    4) there is a constant discomfort down in that, not exactly sure if it could be considered "itching." just severely uncomfortable.

doctors appointment soon, and my mom is going near me. i figured it be a UTI, but i just dont want it to be something sexually related because she isnt aware that i own had sex. ;(

Answers: Definitely sounds close to it, as I have have several in times gone by. UTI's are not always cause by sex and such; I get mine after my period, usually.
I've had a uti in the past, and it sounds liek the symptoms. Although, I never had itching. It could be an std of some giving, but I wouldn't worry too much. You should progress to the doctor, get the uti audition, and if the results come back cynical, you should go put money on and get tested. You don't own to go next to your mom. I'm guessing you're around 16 or so if you're having sex and not "suppose" to be. Maybe a friend could bring you? Don't be afraid to convey your doctor anything. He/she is not allowed to detail your mom anything you don't want her to about sex.

  • Why can't I sleep even though I am exhausted (mentally and physically)?

    I am a 51 year old woman

    Answers: Hi Joan,
I recurrently go through stages where on earth I can't sleep, I take something call Valerian and Skullcap made by Bioforce, you can get it surrounded by Holland and Barret etc.

It helps you sleep and relieves mental stress.
Believe me when I pinch it, it knocks me out approaching a light and I do get up up feeling revitalized. Be warned though it taste bloody awful!!
Give it a go nil ventured nought gained.
For me it is because I can't turn it bad, my mind that it is. It doesn't happen adjectives the time just when I am stressed out especially emotionally.

I have a feeling like I am stuck within repeat mode thinking of all that I want to do, adjectives that I have to do, and adjectives that I have done.......or worrying something like family. It is other something.

Someone once said to me, whenever I get out of bed because and I can't sleep I merely make myself a cup of tea and it make me feel better.

I tried it but it didn't brand name me go to sleep.

Reading help but doesn't always work, or watching the t.v. make me fall asleep sometimes too.

I enjoy heard that in that is a new Tylenol pill that works too but haven't bothered near any pills just similar to you.

I am finding that I fall asleep more habitually now than when I be younger out of sheer exhaustion.
Hi Joan, I hope manage to get to sleep.
You could try have a relaxing bath in the past going to bed, try putting some lavender oil/bubble bath within the water to aid relaxation.
You could also try have a cup of hot chocolate or horlicks - I find that helps when I enjoy trouble sleeping.
Maybe you are just thinking just about things more then you realised.
I know when i am so tired i discern like collapsing i don't sleep because even silly things run through my mind and i bring past that shift to sleep stage and stay awake for hours.
You would know more than me but would the menopause be effecting your energy level and would the changing hormonal level be contributing to your sleeping/lack of sleeping state?
Go to your doctors for a full body MOT and if that is clear start looking at the psychological side of things.
Hi Joan, try to relax earlier bed time, a light magazine, a milky drink, and try not to Mull things over within your mind- Failing that- l will speak to you on here at 2am my time- its 7-15 pm in Spain right very soon. love Jo xx
Can I wish Bex- a contented stress free holiday-lol. xx

  • I have my Mirena iud inserted for a year i enjoy large bleeding and foul odor and cramping is this commonplace?

Mirena iud foul oder heavy bright red blood foul odor and cramping

Answers: All the symptoms u provide does not sound middle-of-the-road to me, in certainty it sounds like some sort of infection. I wouldn`t weaken in seeing ur doctor ASAP if I be you. From what I know of ur device, ur periods should enjoy less bleeding as time go by, not heavy bleeding and the foul odor is usually a sign of infection, so leftovers no time in seeing ur doctor, something is particularly wrong.
    Talk to a doctor.

Don't leave something close to that up to the likes of us.
Its conventional to bleed heavily for the first couple of months but these symptoms are ongoing and you need tosee your doctor as soon as possible. I have one done too recently and enjoy bad cramp pains .
