(Ladies) Stopped using birth control.... what to expect?

Recently stopped using birth control after about a year of use and had a period without delay after, like normal. Its still another week until I think my subsequent period will be (the birth control package said it could take 4-8 weeks to return to a average cycle) however, I have been having some sort of discharge I enjoy never had before. I have simply noticed it twice (once when getting up from peeing and it getting on tp when wiping and once when i was shifting and it sort of just dropped out of me). I know it sounds gross but i dont know how else to describe it. Its like a brownish/taupe color and looks like the consistency and size of a gummy worm. What is this stuff? Is this usual?

Thanks ladies.
Answers:
It doesn't sound out of the ordinary. I mean, your body is still trying to adjust. The discharge could newly be your body's reaction to not taking the pill. I would just wait until that time worrying about it.

If it is still happening after a couple more months, just articulate to your doctor.

Good luck.
