34 y o womanly beside fatigue, unified discomfort, elevated cpr of 7.5, am on SSRI low dose for depression, any concept?

I have been feeling a bit rotten just now. For a couple of months I have had a lot of nouns, some joint pain (mainly wrists, base of thumbs, posterior, neck, shoulders and 'clicky' hips, bit on my feet. Feeling stiff after sleeping and not great rest of day any! Thought it was just getting old! :)

I've be to the GP a couple of times but because I am on a low level SSRI anti-depressant they seem to just write it past its sell-by date as stress related or depression related pain/fatigue and not take it very seriously. I am worried though because I've never really had reciprocal ache/ muscle pain before. It hurts to straighten my hands out properly, when I do straighten my fingers it really feel stretched at my wrist tendons. My fingers seem to want to curve in more than before.

Anyway they did a blood check to check thyroid levels, rheumatoid factor etc. The GP said it was all fine, no probs. is at hand anything that stands out or anything other test I should be asking for? I noticed the CRP level be outside of the range, but it looks low still at 7.5 - what does this mean? I have a loved ones history of autoimmune disorders including Ankylosing Spondylitis, RA , Chrohn's disease etc

I would appreciate any ideas you may have! I just want to work out why I am getting adjectives this joint pain, tiredness etc. I also have be feeling the cold a lot more, very forgetful and collectively feeling 'foggy' and trouble concentrating.

Sounds like it could possibly be Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There isn't a "blood test" to definitively diagnose either, but more of a rule out other disease processes and they hold a "trigger point test" they do...also they do blood work to look for the Epstein Barr Virus. You should maybe also be checked for Lupus since Autoimmune diseases run in your family. I in truth have Fibro, CFS and Lupus! Keep going to doctors until you get a satisfactory answer...don't agree to them keep blowin you off...they did that to me for years before finaladjectivesI found a good doc..a Rheumatologist.

Good luck to you! Source(s): former nurse/experience
Okay, I was looking for that. I have Anklosing Spondylitis and your symptoms are BANG ON! You want to ask your doctor to run the HLA-B27 genetic attraction and wait for it to come back. If it's positive, you will ask to be referred to a rheumatologist (& yes, you can email me).

My symptoms started after the birth of my daughter (26) and it took 10 years to diagnose (39).

My heart goes out to you. If you own pain, you could try just over the counter advil or motrin, but you need to purloin it 4 times a day. Ask your doctor for something that works with this family of disease (indomethicin, but you stipulation stomach aid with it or use indomethicin suppositories).

It's an exhausting disease and it's frustrating too. I hope this helps.
