****Endometriosis...plz help****?

I dont know if i have endometriosis. I looked at my vagina, and i seen a blk dot, between my labia majora, and libia minora. Is it possible to see it youself, or can u only relate thru a laproscopy?
Answers:
This doesn't sound similar to endometriosis. But, go see your Dr. It would be nice to know what you're dealing with.
Sometimes your healthcare provider can see it. The few times I saw it on the outside of the body during my med classes, it be always a bluish color.

If you have all of the other symptoms, its intensely possible. See what your doc says and go from there.

Good luck! Source(s): I work surrounded by healthcare, I have endometriosis, and heres a linkt o learn more:

You won't have endometriosis on an external, visible area close to the labia. Endometriosis does not present on external areas. Laparoscopy is a procedure that surgeons perform to evaluate your abdominal organs, under broad anaesthetic that involves inflating your abdomen with gas to create more room, and then using a mixture of tools to move things around to see if there is any endometriosis present. Anything found is sent off to the lab for analysis. Endometriosis is the presence of endometrium cells (the facing of the womb) on other areas of the abdomen, like your bowel or ovaries for example. You have symptoms around your spell relating to the area where the endometriosis is (like diarrhoea or pain when you own a no 2 if its on your bowel, or pain when you wee if it's on your bladder) plus other symptoms, such as very heavy/painful periods, or discomfort when you have sex, or abdominal pain throughout your cycle. I have purely had surgery for the 7th time in 10 years for stage 3/4 endo so I am more than familiar next to it, and what you describe doesn't sound like endo at all. It may be something as safe as a mole, or just a spot, so I suggest that you go and see someone to have it looked at, basically to put your mind at rest, but this definitely does not sound anything like endometriosis to me.
