They will let you know as soon as they know. Did they definitely do a HIV test? Test pocket time to come back from the lab. Don't worry too much, just hold care of yourself and your baby.
im a guy, but i just had an hiv test a couple months ago. they made me lurk the 2 weeks. and when they call you you can ask for the results over the phone. if its negative, they will tell you. if its positive they will describe you to come in and get your results. but don't worry, you are more than credible fine. i know i was freakin out, convinced that i was only gonna hold 3 months to live or something....and the results were negative!!. i did all that worrying for nil......congrats on the child.
The doctor would most likely phone up you and have you repeat any tests that were not run of the mill, as means of confirming the results. As a rule, if everything is normal they wait to report to you until your next scheduled appointment. All the test results hold to be given to you by your doctor, though, especially the results of an HIV test. If you don't hear anything before your appointment, consider that good word.
