I'm confused roughly speaking TAMPONS!?

my mom said tampons are no good to wear. they may get stuck apparently. i am planning to wear one when i go swimming.. a super absorbant one. but very soon i'm paranoid because i dont know how it will feel, and im afraid it will get stuck inside. does the whole tampon find wet from the water? or just the wrap up of it? im afraid the string will come off as im pulling or i wont even find the string. ive worn one before but i had some discouraging experiences with them. what should i believe?

LOL....your mother needs to go grasp some instructions about tampons so she does not damage your brain for life, Tampons are completely nontoxic. The string cannot come off since it is wrapped around the interior. In addition, if it did push futher inside or something, you can easily receive it out with your fingers alone. Relax. I am 50 years old and I managed to be fine next to them. LOL
Okay so here's what I was taught when I started wearing tampons: ALWAYS verbs the string on the tampon before you put it in to ensure that the string is attached and won't come off when you verbs it later. If you follow the instructions that come with the box, once the tampon is in, the single part that should get wet is the string. And it shouldn't draw from "lost" unless you push the string in and even if you did (I know this sounds gross) but you can just pull it out. According to my doctor tampons cannot bring back lost inside you. Just follow the instructions and don't leave them in more than the box indicates is safe.
tampons are fine to use. but you have to take home sure you change them like every three hours or so, or you could get an infection. also, the probability of the string coming off is very slim. they feel fine: you wont even know you own one on. when you first pull it out it feels a little abnormal, but that's it. dont worry. its either use one or dont swim.
It is with the sole purpose likely to get stuck if you were it for over 8 hours. I own however been sleeping in my mine for years now, over 8 hours and zilch has happened. You really have zilch to worry about and do not be scared by a something to be exact very unlikely to happen. The tampoon is placed in a position where on earth it will not fall out of your vagina. If you choose not to believe anyone, you will be stuck in this bubble where you will never wear a tampoon. You will not even FEEL it.
oh my goodness. Tampons are your friends for this situation, and now i wear them adjectives the time when im on my period. The tampon is going up into you, of course its going to get drizzling, but thats not important. Sometimes the string hides, but don't be afraid to find it, it's always at hand. I didn't wear them for the loongest times, but now i love them! They save your swimming experiences.
first of all think about it... how is it going to receive stuck...
where is it going to go?
there is single one way out................. btw just in armour your didnt know or were wondering... it cant migrate up into your body... your cervix, that quarter sized lump up there, (go ahead feel lol) is the size of a pinprick, nought is going up there. lol
the string does not and never will come apart from the tampon.
because it is WEAVED within the actuall tampon itself.
take on apart and look at it, i enjoy, its totaly sewn into it.
it is never coming off.
so your safe, like we are adjectives saying, and we all use tampons in swimming pools, or none at adjectives because for some reason it slows down..... ? :))
Actually, I don't chew over you'll need a tampon when you're in the water because according to my robustness teacher, our period slows down / stops once you're submerged. ;)
Most tampons have chemicals like bleach in them which is not honourable to the environment of the vagina. I've never swam with a tampon though, so I can't really say if it gets showery or not. But I've swam without a tampon or a pad and i was okay. I believe it does stop when you swim, but my spell was not heavy on that day.
They dont get stuck. haha but It depends on your flow, it might if you aren't a heavy flower.. If you know you don't then don't transport a Super one take normal or the usual.
Dont worry roughly the string, it can't run away.
Read carefully the instructions, nothing can go wrong.
Don't verbs, nothing will happen with it. As long as you don't forget just about the 1st one you put in and don't put in a second one, nothing will appear. They are easy to put in and take out. When you swim they might grasp a bit wet but no worries, nothing will spill. Just make sure the string is not sticking out the side of your swimming bottoms. Good Luck!
im a guy and i have expierience with one before. i stuck it up my backside and i took a dip in the pool and it hasnt come out since :(
Tampons are nil to be afraid of. Just make sure you stick the whole thing within until its half way where that strip is. Then push it in with your finger.( I hope thats a good explaination)

The string get wet and if your in the pool for a while so does the other part.

They do NOT bring stuck in you. haha trust me:)

But keep in mind the super absorbant ones are the really big ones.

It doesnt hurt one tinsy bit once its contained by the proper way.

Trust me, you'll do fine:)
Look, tampons don't get stuck. They just don't. You won't touch anything if you do it right. It won't get wet - otherwise there'd be no point. And the strings don't break! Just take a tampon and try and verbs the string off! x
I've worn one when I was contained by the pool.
The truth is. When you are in water, your period get very very light. Or possibly not bleed at all. Think of it as being in the shower? Haven't you notice that you are not bleeding?
Only the tip of the string will get wet.
And I was wearing a small tampon. So I reflect you should be very fine.
Try them out. I find tampons exceptionally comforable and considerably more clean than pads. They can't catch stuck because you can just put your finger up there and shuffle it around a bit to find the string then verbs. The string may get wet from the water and I don`t know, maybe just a bit of the end of the tampon closest to the exit, but the undamaged thing definatly wont get wet, a moment ago a tiny bit if you don't insert as far as it can go. When insert properly, you shouldn't feel the tampon at all. The string have never come off for me and I've used them for years, but if it does, again, just fish around up there and find the tampon to verbs it out (clean hands, remember that tip). The worst you have to worry roughly is an infection, which would only happen if you keep it surrounded by to long. A good rule of thumb is to change it every 6 hours at most and every time you go to the bathroom regardless of the end time you switched it out. Give 'em a go darling, you'll like the cleanliness... must smaller number messy. Source(s): Mensutrating for 20 years.
i wear tampons. they are WAY better than pads and near is a 1 in a million chance that it will get stuck. when you travel swimming it will get a little wet so you'll wanna progress it afterwards. its not like the string will get sucked in or come stale. that wont happen. you have NOTHING to worry around. but make sure you change it every 8 hours at the most!
jesus christ just dont go swimming while you're on the rag
ahahahhahahha
tamps dont get stuck anymore..close to they can if they arnt fully filled up && it really does hurt..so id recomend wearing a medium one esspeically when swimming because your body essentially slows period flowage down (aka the shower) but the string breaking off-no.
the tamp stays dry from the water && make sure to not force it contained by..just hold it there and let it float
They are totally not bleak for you. They do run a risk of getting TSS but that's only if you leave it in for opening to long[over 6 hours].
You will be fine in the water, the tampon will not get showery and if it does then it will only be the string/tip of it. I shouldnt get stuck inside unless you push it contained by to far but im sure that wont happen, just make sure the string is still out. it's super unproblematic and not complicated at all. if your worried about how it will feel later use playtex sport, i use those and you cant feel a thing =]
trust me i used to be afraid to use them but now i imagine theyre the best invention everrr =]
They are clearly safe but you might try lubricating the container with KY jelly ( available at the drug store) Raise one leg onto toilet seat or stool and relax as you insert it. None of your fears are going to happen and you'll feel so clean and undamaging.
Have fun xx
Unless your yank on the tampon the string will not break. I have swam many times with one on and it doesn't even return with wet just make sure you put it contained by far enough you cant see it but make sure the string is visible.. When its contained by correctly it will feel comfortable. But if its your first time it may feel alittle weird. Source(s): Me, and -----

try sticking the string inside just a touch bit it works, and you wont be as paranoid. and they only get stuck it you shove it up too far Source(s): http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?…
mine?
tampons are fine. i other wear them i hate pads. theyre fine to wear in the marine just change them as soon as you get out. you cant even quality them which is why theyre better. and there is a chance of infection or something but only a small coincidence IFFF you leave it in for a long long time like over ten hours or something. i even wear them when i sleep and ive be fine and never had problems. id use them youd be a lot happier haha:)
i dont believe the tampon will get stuck to where on earth u can never get it. if the string comes off, the tampon will still be there. and it wont bring back soaked because its inside ur body. if ur soo worried then just wear them for swimming only.
actually... the don't get stuck...
SOMETIMES, girls shove it contained by a little to far and the string goes in beside the tampon.
and if it gets stuck get help right away, cause if you leave a tampon in to long (usually over 6-8 hours) you can win towic shock syndrom.
thats why most girls use a pad... im not sure if there pads that are similar to, water proof? imma guy.. lmfao.
But dont worry, just take heed. Source(s): my girlfriend... trust me, you learn a lot. lol
You should wear a tampon. If you wear one going swimming, on the end bit will get wet the tissue inside your vagina wont get showery. I do it all the time. And just text me at 352-242-8372 for oblige
Don't be paranoid. Tampons can be discomfited at first, but you get used to them. And no, they will not get stuck inside you, just clear sure you follow the directions and put it in until you reach the brim of the plastic part, the string will swing and it will not fall off when you pull on it. The tampon string will occupy some water that could lead to the main constituent, but don't worry, it won't affect it and it won't be nearly enough water. Tampons are not complicated at adjectives, you just put them in and wahla! Be aware, if it is your first time, there will be discomfort.
you shouldn't worry they don't fell uncomfortable really and they aren't unyielding to use
I use to be scared of tampons too. But once I started wearing them, I can't stand wearing a wipe. They make things easier. You don't have to worry almost them as much and you can swim with it. The string shouldn't ever break. They're made strong just so they don't.
Tampons will single 'get stuck' if the removal string breaks. Its always a good idea to furnish the string a good tug before ever inserting it to ensure that it is well attached.

Tampons will swell and occupy the pool/lake/etc water. The best option for swimming, or in my belief, any time are menstrual cups. You can find them at most drug stores. They are soft collapsible cups that are inserted into the vagina and they collect your flow throughout the day. Unlike tampons, they show no risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome and are much more sanitary, cost effective, and comfortable. You would only necessitate two cups total per year. Place one in and every 12 hours change it. Wash the cups well next to soap and reuse. They collapse and fit discretely into a case that looks like a compact. There is also no smell associated with cups, close to there is with pads and tampons and if swimming they simply don't allow marine up into your bodily cavity, therefore no blood leaks out. With tampons, blood is constantly seeping into the hose down as your flow drains. Most people are under the incorrect assumption that your flow stops in dampen... what actually happens is that the flow is by nature rather light, less than 80ml through the entire cycle. It looks like more when attached to the coating of a tampon or wipe. So, with such small amounts being 'lost' at any given time, it is difficult to see with the eye when immersed contained by water. The cup solves this issue and keeps blood flow from entering the water... if single everyone would use them, public pools wouldn't be crawling with menstrual flow!
They don't get stuck if you wear what's appropriate. Super absorbent for extremely heavy days, super for cumbersome days, regular for regular days, light for light days.
