Yes, it does, but if it feels uncomfortable, than you probably inserted it wrong.
Please don't use tampons when you're not on your period. Its terrifying because you might get a disease called TSS.
Make sure that you change your tampon every 6-8 hours. 8 Hours at the MOST or you'll be at greater risk for TSS.
(I don't mean to scare you about TSS. I'm a moment ago weary about it.)
You can use it for school tomorrow when you perceive comfortable with the tampons.

I would save using pads at school until tampons feel comfortable... Keep practicing! Cause you shouldn't be capable of feel tampons when they're in... You might want to take it out if you can get the impression it. And maybe try again? Try pushing it up a bit further next time. But once you're used to tampons 4 hours should be fine!

And lately stop at your locker and put it in your pocket, It's more convienent than a pad.
I used to have to travel across the school and back to get one. And it be when i wore pads. Then i started to wear tampons and it was SOOO much better.

Relax, it takes practice. First of adjectives, with the first time, you stated it felt weird. Sounds approaching it is not in far enough. You shouldn't feel it at adjectives.
You can leave your tampon in for about 4-6 hours. Removing it shouldn't hurt any.
Tampons provide a lot more freedom than pad so they are much better in that aspect, they also dont smell like a pad does when it wishes changing.
The best advice i can give you is to read the little insert surrounded by the packet as it gives you all the instructions you'll need.
Once a tampon is inserted, you shouldnt be capable of tell there is one there, besides the little string that hang down. It takes some practice to get used to inserting it properly, but once you know how it well be much more easier and convenient than a wipe.
Generally a tampon should be left in no longer than 4 hours, otherwise there is a risk of contracting toxic shock syndrome. While you dont want to achieve this, please keep in mind that it is extremely rare, even if you enjoy left your tampon in longer than it should have be (because you forgot about it etc). Again this information comes in the packet with the tampons.
I would reccommmend trying them out at home first. Just so you know how normally you need to change them especially in the first few days of your length when it is the heaviest. You'll know whn it needs changing as the tampon will easily come out when you helpfully pull on the string. You can remove a tampon that is not yet "full", you a moment ago have to pull the string a little harder
As for other girls, adjectives those who have already got their period will not be at adjectives bothered about the sound of the wrapper as they will most probably understand. If you are still concious, try doing it within the middle of recesses, when the bathrooms are most busy and noisy. It only seem that loud because you are opening it in the privacy of your own home.
One more thing, buy tampons that suit your flow. For example if you are at the start of your interval, use the more absorbant tampons (maxi i think they are called) and as your period lightens, use less absorbant tampons.

It's important to amend them frequently like every 4-6 hours. Use them everyday. They helped me with my cramps and they are SO much better than pad. It won't hurt when you take it out at all, the more your use them the easier it gets and you won't even focus twice about it. But don't worry so much about time. I disappeared mine in once for over a day and nothing happen. And you could make it through school if you use one before you walk out and change it when you get home and all girls own their period so no one really cares if you amenable the wrapper :) Source(s): Me!
the first time is always unexpected, you are so concious of it being there. dont worry you prob did it ok. depending on your flow (hehe) if its immense only keep it in for resembling 4 hours. if you medium to light a bit longer is ok. i wouldnt put one in for schoool a moment ago yet, since your still a bit uncomfortable and school is longer than you should own one in.

well its gonna be aware of weird at first cause you haven't every used them before. yes its ok to hand down the tampon in for four hours but it all depends on how heavy your flow is. I own to say tampons are better than pads cause you don't hold to worry about a mess. Well don't worry something like what others think all girls have to concordat with it at some point.... when your in the bathroom don't worry nearly girls hearing you open the wrapper most of the time no one should hear you instigate it anyways. If you are too embarrassed to bring you bag or purse with you consequently slip the tampon through your sweater sleeve. its natural so don't worry. And if you feel more comfortable practicing until you be aware of more comfortable then that's fine. Just to say you will get used to the fct that the tampon is within real quick so you should be fine.
