Are tampons doomed to failure for you?
Answers:
I don't use tampons myself but no, they're not that unpromising for you. pads are better for you but tampons still aren't bad. if you're only using it a few times a week or something later it's definitely not bad. just present yourself breaks with them and try to use them not a lot. I think kotex is a appropriate brand?
They aren't bad for you as long as you are very careful almost changing them. You need to be sure that you take the dirty one out and seize a clean one in regularly.
They can hurt to get contained by and out if you don't have enough flow. It is a piece of cotton that you are putting inside of you. If you're somewhat dry then it's going to hold what little moisture is in there and can stick a little bit.
I'd jump with a brand that has the plastic applicator (the cardboard ones are bulkier and harder to insert in my opinion). There are instructions within each package about how to apply a tampon, but you could other ask someone such as your mother to help you if need be and if you aren't embarrassed to do that :)
Hey! :) I was a competitive swimmer so I had no choice buy to use tampons. I started when I be 11. My mom went through the same thing, It's because you are not fully grown even so so there may not be enough space. They are not bad at adjectives, they are gifts! :P Use them when your period is heavy though. All the horror stories come from women who wore them for more than 8 hours, or when they were not flowing alot. What happen is the tampon would soak up all your fluids etc etc. But don't worry about it. Just put it contained by before your sports and you will have no period worries. At 13 return with tampax slender lights or something like that. They are small and thin. Just wear a liner in your underwear incase you own any leaks. My mom used to give me vasaline to put on the tampon to make it slide surrounded by easier if you want to try that.
Putting it in:
You can read the instructions in the box. But I find the best way to do it is stand up and bend your knees a bit. Make sure you are completley relaxed and open breaths. Take the tampon out of the wrapper and aim it at a 45 degree angle into the correct hole. Push the first half of the tampon in, after press the applicator portion in. Once you have done that take the applicator out and the string will be limp there.
Hope I helped you :) Good luck with everything, no worries :) Source(s): I've be using tampons for 6 years. No problems.
Like everything else that comes in contact near things "down There," you need to apply common sense. tampons are bad for you if you give up your job them in to long and you run the risk of TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome.)
congratulations of being active surrounded by sports, periods are always a pain, but not much anyone can do something like them. talk to your mom she will tell you how and the it'll be up to you to change them frequently . The box will describe you how long you should leave them in.
My daughters used tampons from their first period.
Good Luck
