I inevitability birthcontrol :[ How Do I go and get It?

I want to go on birth control, merely to regulate my period.
Since i'm only fourteen, almost fifteen, to be exact the only reason.
I'd go to a clinic, if I could drive. But i'm a year away from that.
And I can't pilfer the pain.

The periods are really heavy, second a long time, and the cramps are god awful. Insane, and it often prevents me from doing anything but sitting at home curled in a ball.

I live beside my father. And only my father. It'd be much less awkward if I was conversation to my mother, or step-mother about it, but I don't even have any close family friends that are feminine.

But i'm afraid he'll think i'm having sex, and not give it to me.
He's a doctor, so i'm sure he know that it helps with periods and such. I only just don't know how to go about asking him.

I have a few friends that are on it, and apparently help them a lot.
Answers:
if theyre that bad, just be like "dad, i have need of birthcontrol.. not cuz im having sex, but cuz i need it to regulate my period" he'll understand! merely since they are THAT bad, ask him
Call your doctors office. Im sure if you explained it to them they could get an appointment for you and your doctor to talk. If they give you a presciption just ask your father to pick it up lacking him.
hes a doc so he should understand. i am sure he wouldn't want you to be in serious affliction if there is something out there that can help near your problem. does he know that you are in such pain? just cooperate to him. bring it up like after dinner one night or wait till you are on your term and mention it to him. don't forget to reassure him that you are not having sex! there are different birth control pills that lessen the time you are on your period and the cramping. or near are pills that let you have it only once every 3 months. Source(s): have horrible cramps and heavy bleeding as a teen.
then he should take you to take some
