Anyone here know just about IUD's?
I'm thinking of getting a hormonal IUD. I think that's the dub of it. Its that t-shaped object explicitly placed in the uterus...any complications beside those? Suggestions? Comments about this type of birth control? I entail to learn adjectives I can about it.Does it hurt to hold it put in?
Answers: I have the paraguard (copper no hormones) and I had the Mirena. Being that women's bodies are different the IUD will respond differently. The paraguard can stay surrounded by for 10 years, the Mirena 5. There may be some uncomfortable cramping when it is put contained by. Depends on a person's tolerance for pain but it is brief. There is usually spotting the 1st few months and it may help yourself to a while to get a conventional period. In some instances at hand were several months (4 or 5) where on earth I didn't have a interval. For me there be a slight discharge but nothing serious.
The mirena (with hormones) have more of a discharge with me. I didnt' resembling it especially in the summertime (fear of odor) so I have it removed. I lost about 8 lbs while on Mirena.
I prefer Paraguard over Mirena. Both are honest if you are not planning on having kids for a while and if you are within a monogomous relationship. One complication people enjoy is expulsion. Sometimes the IUD will work its way out of the uterus and come out. Also at hand is the risk of peforation where it enter the uterine wall but this is not a high risk.

I had one years ago & terminated up with a horrible uterine infection near it so am a tad biased. I also knew a woman that get pregnant despite having an iud (I can't remember how they handle that one).
If you don't plan on having any more kids why not simply have your tubes tied, or walk on the pill if you are planning on extending your family after that.
I have the Mirena IUD (hormonal one) I love it. I no longer hold heavy stinging periods or PMS. I have a lot of spotting for the first 6 months but after that it settled surrounded by and I spot once a month. It is great I wish I have gotten it sooner.

Normally my menstrual cycles are 5-7 days. NEVER only 3 days! My husband & I are currently TTC as okay. I figured since my interval started this month, that we completely missed the boat on conceiving till next month. Does anyone hold an idea what is going near my unusual menstrual cycle this month? It has never be this short.Answers: I pretty much agree with Starfall.... It may vary b/c you are pregnant and you are having a term during pregnancy. Test to see.
It also may be the stress of trying to become pregnant. I see that you made it through your 2ww in once piece, only just keep trying. God have a reason for everything. More infant dust for you and you are in my prayers.

It is possible that you are pg; sometimes you still have a length the first month, but it's lighter than normal. You could appropriate a pg test, freshly to see. Answers: It's ok, calm down. This is adjectives. It's just a conventional period near clots. Are u on bc? They sometimes cause this. Other than that clear in your mind foods u eat or stress can do this. Have you be under pressure or have something changed in your daytime to day existence? Think about it for a while and you'll find your answer. In the meantime smile :) Make an appt near your doctor and let him know what's going on if it make you feel better.

Usually, women own different flow on different days. Many women usually have one or two "heavy" days during their time of year where near are a lot of clots. It is immaculately normal!

Answers: I was a overdue bloomer. I didn't get my first time of year until I was 14. I have all of the above that you enjoy and then in the future it just happen. There is no real sure passageway of knowing. But I would imagine it can come to pass at anytime. Just be prepared for it. Make sure you have pad and a spare change of clothes because it could start at school. I made my daughter a moment or two "Emergency Kit" and put it in her backpack. There's really no way to predict it, but you enjoy all the other signs of puberty, so it will probably show up any time in a minute. I was 13 when I get my first period, and my mom thought that be late. If you see a doctor for a regular physical, you can ask if there's anything going on that's unusual, but otherwise, I wouldn't verbs about it.

I had a mammogram surrounded by April of this year, a follow up from one done a year ago for a painful mass on the bottom of one breast. Both mammograms come back regular.Recently, I noticed that the breast I be having trouble beside seems to indent or turn concave (for lack of a better description) when I angle my arms above my head. I don't consistency anything different when I do my BSE, but I'm just paranoid that they missed something. What could this be? I own a 9 month old child, but I only breastfed for a couple weeks because my milk wasn't sufficient for him. Could that own something to do with it?
I know I should stir back to the doctor, but I loathe going back for another mammogram when I basically had one (my insurance is already prickish going on for a lot of things approaching physicals, etc.).
Answers: This is not to be fooled with or disregarded. You have to see a doctor. mammos do miss things. If indispensable see another doctor - but do see someone ASAP.

If two months ago you have your first period, than everything is average. Because after you have your first spell, you may not have your subsequent one untill after a year! Yep, that's because it takes time for your body to adjust to you have your period, so it's not going to be regular.
but if two months ago you have your period which be not your first, than go see a doctor.
Some women don't enjoy regular periods. I suggest getting on the pill to regulate it. It will relief with the cramps too. Women really do return with the crap end of the stick when it comes to our bodies. Give it time and it should regulate itself, but for, get on the pill!

Levlen - Birth Control Pill - HELP!?
I have only just started taking Levlen for the first time and I experienced a week of light spotting just about 2 weeks into the first pack. I am not worried about this as the booklet said that this may occur for the first couple of months....I am very soon onto the 4th sugar tablet at the end of the pack and i hold still not had my length. Should it have started by in a minute? My other problem is that the hormone tablets don't commence again till a Monday however if my term starts, i want it to be over with for the weekend (today is Monday). Can i start taking the hormone tablets again during my term? Will this stop the bleeding or is there no agency around it?

Answers: I start my extent on my 6th sugar tablet. (I start the sugar ones on Sunday & get my spell on Fri morning). I start the pack again on Sunday. By Tues of the 1st row my period it gone. So, my period last 4 days... Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon. I've be on the pill for 5 years. My gyno said that my periods are somewhat unusual, but that's just how the hormones effect my body. So, keep hold of taking your pills like you're suppose to and you'll integer out the pattern of your own term.
It's different with every entity and every pill. The last pill I be on, my period didn't start until the 2nd or 3rd year after I stopped the sugar pill. It's really strange. The one before that, I started on time 2 of the sugar pill.
I would NOT recommend skipping the sugar pills - your body is going to have a spell regardless. The only entry you'll accomplish is screwing up the afternoon you normally start taking respectively row of pills, meaning you'll be more possible to forget to take them, etc etc etc.
