Womens Health Questions and Answers
What do you do after unprotected sex?
Answers: For me, the question have different answers, depending on the situation. We'll start from worst case to best grip. All encounters are presumed from the perspective of a feminine after heterosexual sex, because it would be entirely too long otherwise. But that isn't to downplay the need for plans near unprotected gay/lesbian sex.
1. I didn't know the person and it be nonconsensual: Go to the ER immediately for a rape tackle, and prepare to press charges. My healthcare providers will help me to settlement with unintended consequences such as STI nouns and pregnancy.
2. I didn't know the person, it be consensual and I'm not on birth control: Right away, call a pharmacist or Planned Parenthood for Plan B emergency contraception. Within a few days, calendar an appointment for a pelvic exam to determine if any contact STI's occurred (it's quicker to determine if you enjoy genital lice or if there are any genital abrasion increasing the likelihood of contact transmission). Schedule followup blood test (as far as 6 months out) to determine if I'd contracted any blood borne STI's. Begin appropriate treatments accordingly.
3. I know the person, no birth control: Get Plan B as above. Contact the entity and ask that he be tested for common and scariest STI's (gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, Hep B/C, syphilis and possibly herpes and HPV, depending upon the situation). If he refuse, ask that he be as honest as possible about his sexual/IV drug use history, in recent times to get a obedient idea of the types of test I need to programme for myself. Schedule a pelvic exam and talk to a professional roughly recommendations for blood test to schedule down the rank.
4. I knew the human being; on birth control: Call a pharmacist or Planned Parenthood to verify that my current regimen of birth control is likely to cover me for unpremeditated pregnancy. For STI prevention, same as above scenario.
Naturally, the best way to touch this situation is to prevent it. Many times rape can not be prevented, so knowing what to do after unprotected sex is something we *all* need to consider (male or feminine, straight or gay) - regardless of how determined we are to stay chaste. I'm not someone who is chaste, however.
Since I am a lesbian, my risks of STI transmission and unintended pregnancy are lower than for heterosexually stirring women, but even still, I carry condoms (for my straight girlfriends) and dental dam (the "condom" equivalent in lesbian sex) next to me everywhere. I also have two Plan B kit that I purchased from my local queer-friendly, feminist gynecology office (they be $24 each - very well worth it, I'd say!).
Additionally, I enjoy a copper IUD (10 years of no pregnancy gives me pretty dutiful peace of mind). I have be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B, and just now was competent to talk my doctor into giving me the Gardasil vaccine to protect against the two strains of HPV that are most possible to cause genital wart and cervical cancer (it is currently only approved for up to age 26, but recommendation are that it be given to women older than 26 who hold never been infected next to the two HPV strains, and I have not). I draw from tested for HIV every 6 months and a full battery of STI trialling done with my once a year pap and pelvic, and I carry a shrunken copy of the results next to me in my billfold, of late like my updated driver's license and driver's insurance. I discern like we should adjectives have a license to enjoy sex, and this is the closest I can get to that.
I do adjectives of this whether or not I have be sexually active, because it's a biddable habit, and I want to hold up-to-date information about me available for my partner. I wouldn't just trust someone if they told me they're verbs or have be celibate for x-amount of time. So why should I ask them to trust that about me?
1. jump to the doctor and get yourself checked out, carry a 'morning after pill'
2. don't have unsafe sex again
3. progress buy condoms to help next to 2.
Kiss Sara goodbye.

Period Problems.. Help me girls.?
I haven't had a term for 5 months. I'm 14 years old and started my period 2 years ago. They have be on/off for a while now. I am not growing as okay. I am putting on weight even though I put away a perfectly impartial diet.Do I need a growth spurt or what?
I'm in the region of 5 foot and 8 stone 8 pounds.
PLEASE HELP ME :(
Answers: That happened to me too, something when you first start your length your body needs time to adjust to it, and something if you have a stressful month or your doing a different diet or exercise program your body needs to grasp used to it and help itself up to that time you can start a regular period, when i first started, mine skipped 4 months consequently i had it thn it skipped 3 next 6, it'll be wacko for a tad.
Take a look back. For the 2 years that you own had your period, were they extremely regular? If not, did they become regular? Are you sexually stirring? If so, have you be using protection every single time? Pregnancy could be a diagnosis.
At age 14, your body is going through so much right now, that it probably requests a little "catch-up" time, so to speak. Hormones are raging, college is stressful, hormones cause house situations that were once middle-of-the-road to be annoying, making homelife full of tension/stress.
Have you started a sport of some sort that requires a lot of strenuous hum? This can also play a factor. I know that when I was 14, I be involved in cheerleading, and for the first 4 months of cheerleading, due to the extreme excercise that my body wasn't used to, I skipped my period as well. As soon as my body regulated to the exercise, my period came hindmost :)
i wouldn't worry just about it too much. Talk with your mother almost this, she can help you out more than we can. And it'll oblige her feel needed, making your relationship better! Give a few more months and during those months, try not worrying roughly it. Just relax and realize that your body knows what its doing!

Is she really having her term for weeks out of the month or just describing you that because she's not in the mood? I voice that because it's a possibility.
There are several factors that can effect a woman's time. It can be a medical problem or stress related. I know one time I had a term every two weeks and it was stress related. I be worried over a new commission my husband had taken.
It does nouns like something she requirements to discuss with her doctor.

Abnormal bleeding. is it stress or something serious?
In 20s, not on birth control or any other meds, sexually active next to one partner (use condoms, but there hold been times w/o), on spell for 16 days and counting. No pains or other noticable symtoms. Not pregnant according to hpt.the bleeding started as spotting for 6 days, then become heavier yet not as starchy normal time (1 or 2 pads/tampons during a day). dealing with some change that may cause some stress, but is that grounds? no insurance yet going to aim clinic help. looking for theories. Wait it out? stress? hormone issue?
Answers: My friend have that happen once. She go to the gyn, who said, you're allowed to have a strange period once surrounded by a great while and write it off to stress.
So, if it stops soon, and doesn't hang on to happening, you probably don't want to worry.
Still, it's a indisputable good conception to get to the clinic as soon as you can and own it checked. Especially important to be checked for HPV.

Answers: You know what I come up with ......... is it poss that she's just have s*ex and this is the discharge mixed with probably the end of her spell ?
CHEERS
Sounds like a term. Is it not a period? Remember, they can be irregular or stir longer than you expect.
If it's not a period, next she really needs to shift and see the doctor.
OK further to your update yes it could be "excess period" because some women get discharge beside blood afterwards. But it doesn't sound close to anything normal...if it be soap irritation it probably wouldn't have the blood. Unless she in recent times finished her period, I contemplate she should see the doctor.
i dont know that much about it but if its not her time try to convince her to go to a doctor
