I'm taking BCP and I'm spotting, will this dance away?

I recently started taking the pill and I started spotting towards the completion of the second week everyday and I'm just finishing up the third week. I also started getting mild pains similar to the ones that I get when I'm on my length.

Is this just my body getting used to the pill?
Will it be in motion away or should I ask my doctor to change the pill
