When I first wax, I got some sensitive skin wax strips because I thought those might lessen the pain a short time ago a little bit. Anyway, turns out I prbably didn't have need of them at all, could of of late used normal ones. Yes, it does sting awfully lightly for a couple of second then it go away. You have to verbs it off firmly and in haste, and don't pull it up verbs it along the leg towards you, as close to it as you can. Everyone says that it is so raw if you do it slowly. Yes it hurts but for me it wasn't agony (when I went a bit wrong). Overall it didn't hurt for me at all really, but population's skin is different. I couldn't bring myself to pull it bad the first couple of times so my mom did it, but after I felt how much it hurt (aka, nothing) I have no trouble doing it myself.

Go for it, it is better than shaving, although it can sometimes hurt around the bikini line and armpits. I suppose you receive used to it there. I a short time ago shave around those areas, and wax my legs. Good luck. xxx

edit: look, I'm not proverb this about everyone on here but nearly adjectives of these people answering probably havn't ever wax before, and are basically going along with what the tv say or something. I, on the other hand, HAVE so bear it from someone that knows. (again, not dictum this about everyone)

If its your first time, trust me it hurts.

you have to seize a wax machine, the sugary description you just stick on doesn't work, and yeah it hurts close to crap. Maybe you will get a touch use to it though because it use to hurt really bad when I tweezed my eye but very soon I am use to it and it doesn't hurt anymore.
