Fibroid Surgery Questions?
Hi
I would like to address to anyone that has have surgical removal of a uterine fibroid.
Im due to have surgery contained by about a month, and Im really concerned. I was wondering if anyone could detail me about what the surgery be like, the beneficial time, the pain height, how you felt afterward. Were you competent to move around, excersize, have sex, anything you want to share would be great.

Hi, I had impossible to tell apart situation as you and I had C-section surgery done on February 2005. I have many big fibroids and in that was no opportunity of embolization.
The fibroids were so oodles and so big that my doctor suggested 4 shots of luprone injection to reduce the size of them so that she could avoid the karma of removing the whole uterus. I be only 24 and single. So she be very concerned.
After that I have my surgery by full anesthesia. The surgery took around 4 hours. Doctors removed 28 fibroids and some part of the uterus, but thank God, they could store my uterus.
2nd day after the surgery be bit painful. When I have my sense I felt hallucination and vomit as the effect of the anesthesia. But doctor said it will gone by 24 hours.
I had cathedrae for 3 days after the surgery. Nurses would purify my body and make me move a bit. Doctor said its suitable to move after the surgery, it helps to heel faster. At the 3rd sunshine the removed my cathedrae and gave me some solution food. Then I started to walk slowly and budge to toilet by my own. It was bit uncomfortable to walk but its bearable.
After 7 days I have to fly and attend a interview to get acknowledgment in the MBA class. I very well managed it and started to affiliate the MBA classes after 1 month of the surgery. So you understand that you will be alright in 1 month.
Doctor told me not to do any stressful work until 1 month, to eat pale food for 1 month. Not to have sex for 2 months.
In the indicate time I got married, but undesirably just surrounded by 1 year the fibroids grew again, as big as before. Doctor said here is nothing to do other afterwards wait to catch pregnant cause second surgery would be really risky (risk of removing the uterus).
Luckily, I got pregnant, in a minute I'm 6 months pregnant with adjectives the fibroids. I hope my baby born within good situation.

I be scheduled for a fibroid removal, terminated up having my uterus removed (not my ovaries, thank God). Sometimes doctors don't know what they will find until they are here. I already had 3 kids when they did this, and it be some 5 years ago, now they enjoy a lot of not so traumatic option available, (UFE) when they cautherize blood supply to the fibroid, making it "die" on its own, freezing or myomectomy (surgically removing them).You do not tell which method they are using on you, so i cannot assistance much there. In any grip, you must follow the procedure as your doctor tells you to, avoid have sex when and for how long he tells you to and follow every instruction as told.
Remember this, ASK as much as you want, your doctor is at hand not just to oblige but to inform you as well.

I had hysteroscopy beside D&C a couple of times to remove both fibroids and polyps from my uterus in days gone by. I was asleep during the surgery, and have some cramping for a while afterwards, lasting solitary for a couple of hours, off and on. The bleeding wasn't too stocky for me, it lasted for almost 3-4 days... again, off and on.
Sex be out of the question until after the post-op... at most minuscule it was for me.
I recovered a bit quickly after the operation. Having fibroid removal done was profusely easier than the two emergency c/sections I've had, that's for sure!

Thanks for asking this question. I hold a fibroid tumor that is getting bigger and bigger by the month. I look as if I am 2 to 3 months pregnant, it is such an embarassment. I would approaching to have surgery but cannot aford it. Can you shrink the fibroid by avoiding positive foods such as dairy and meats?
