Has anybody ever had a miscarriage and can relate me what it was close to?

I have have two. The first miscarriage I had, I didn't even know something be wrong. I went to the doctor for the "heartbeat appointment" and they couldn't find a heartbeat. I have to have a d&c. The second miscarriage I have, I didn't even realize I was pregnant. I thought I be having a really impossible period next to lots of cramps and bleeding. Then, I had a terribly large (what I thought at the time) clot. I call my doctor and they got me contained by to check me out. It didn't really "hurt", it was only uncomfortable.
