you can any use a tampon, or a pad. If you're too conscious in the region of the pad-lines, I suggest you wear denims. 'Coz if you get a stain, it wouldnt be noticeable since the cloth is very gummy. I don't like using tampons because its kinda self-conscious + pads are more comfortable.

unless you are wearing the really large pad they made a long time ago with the belts or Depends, they dont show through clothing. I've be wearing pads for 8 yrs and no event what I wear they are not visible. I wear tight shorts sometimes I look at myself within the mirror and I see nothing. if your still discomfited, dont wear as tight of clothes during your week and you should be fine!
