Can you lift agnus cactus when taking the contraceptive pill?

Answers:

I'm late for my time of year does any one know why.?

I wouldn't think this is sage to do as agnus castus is a known hormone regulator and the pill intrinsically suppresses your hormone production so the herb might interfere with the contraceptive function of the pill within that sense.

Edited:

Just to double check I googled and found a link that verify that you must NOT take agnus castus when on the pill. Here it is:

Tampon Questions Girls simply!?

I would not advise that you cart it at all! It is of no invigorating value. Equally since as is the norm, near herbal junk approaching this, it has solitary had to prove that it doesn't trademark you drop dead soon after you nick it, no drug interaction studies exist!

This allows any wild claim to be made almost its wondrous properties without a spec of evidence, but make it impossible to say if it interacts near any other medication including the pill. Stop wasting your time and money!

I did however, based on what, I dont know, find this on one site promoting it:

Do not bring Agnus Castus during pregnancy; and it would be wise to avoid it when taking any other product or drug which affects the womanly hormone system - such as HRT or the contraceptive pill.

Okay so is this right?

No is the answer!! Agnus castus is a MARVELLOUS product both in its herbal form and as a homoeopathic remedy where on earth is works wonders - particularly for troublesome symptoms of the menopause! Topical within light of todays word - works a treat but doesn't give you increased risk of cancer. So forget HRT and adjectives other forms of hormone manipulation! Reach for the safe & wonderful homoeopathic products.
