My query is medical. Is it normal to enjoy a heavy menstrual cycle beside clotting for three days?

Over four years ago I had tubiligation. Within times gone by six months I started to see changes within menstrual cycle. Before getting tubes tied I never missed a period. Now I seem to be to have a term every other month. My last one be very lite and almost no clotting. Now, the second third and fourth morning of my period nearby was clotting and I am extremely wishy-washy. Could it be a miscarriage or is it normal?
