How do breast cancer walks lift money?

Each woman & a few men raised $1900 respectively to participate, I walk in the July 2002 3-Day Walk (from San Jose to San Francisco). The participant ask all their clan, friends & co-worker to help support them. Some of the money go for tents, food, showers, Band-Aids & mostly into the organizers (Pallotta Team Works) own pockets. I own a problem with that. We raise 11 million & only 4 million go to Breast Cancer directly. From now on, I will single give money directly to the Breast Cancer fund. Having the saunter each year help people become aware & donate their hard earn monies more to the organizers next to the Breast Cancer fund. There many volunteers on foot to help out & support the walker.
They raise money by making something as simple as those pink ribbon breast cancer pins. There smooth to make and intensely low cost efficent.
