I.U.D Info Needed?
Call me crazy but I had an I.U.D inserted this chronological Valentine's Day. I am conflicted by all the different information I find nearly I.U.D's. So I was wondering if anyone could give a hand me with some question I have.... I get the copper one.
1. When is it ok to Exercise again?
2. When should I expect the bleeding to stop?
3. When can I have sex?
4. When should I check the string for the first time and months after?
Thank you, also if you can feel of something that is central to know that I didn't ask please include it in your response. Any information is appreciated.

1. You can exercise anytime that you want now. You be free to exercise from the day it be inserted.
2. Bleeding will last longer - that's up to your body. Usually period will last a full 7 days. Some women spot for a time after insertion, others don't. Again, that's up to your body.
3. You can own sex starting from the day it be inserted, although many those don't like to hold sex until they have stopped bleeding.
4. You can check the string whenever you want, most check at their appointment they hold with their OB/GYN (usually something like 6 months, unless there is something wrong)
**UPDATE** If explicitly what your doctors and nurses told you, then you should really follow their instructions. They know your medical history better than any of us and are in a better position to administer you the best advise possible. You should listen to them.

The bleeding will stop when your body is in position. Everyone is different. Mine stopped 1 month after it was inserted. I have sex about 3 wks after inserted. You can check for the strings whenever you touch like it. They could still be tucked trailing your cervix so you may not feel them. Try again after a week or so. ALSO, I be told to look in the toilet after I move about to the bathroom so see if it falls out - I know this sounds wierd like wouldnt you know if it come out but i guess some dont.
My bf says he can consistency ths strings every once in a while. I need to turn have them trimmed. He say they hurt pretty bad.

OK I own Mirena so some answers may be different for you.Exercise presently.
I had spotting for oodles months after insertion.
Sex I was allowed the hours of daylight I had it inserted.
Strings........I be constantly checking the strings at first because I had a suspicion of it falling out. Give it about 4 weeks....afterwards check it once a month.
