There are so tons factors that can affect our period and, yes, breast feeding is one of them as is stress. Also, your spell can be irregular for a while after giving birth as it takes a while for the hormones to receive back to common. Breast feeding impact the hormones return to pre-pregnancy status.

If your test be a hpt, please ask your doctor to order a blood interview to be sure. Then, if you don't want to get pregnant right away, be sure to practice past the worst sex (condoms since you are breast feeding). Good luck! (I'm an R.N.)
