I have just recenlty have sex for the first time probably like 2-3 weeks ago and am starting on birth control (pill) on Sunday and my doctor mentioned I should get a pap experiment done he never said a time so im not sure how long I should wait. Is there a specific time that I should acquire it or does it matter?

Answers:    Anyone that is 18 and elder or sexual active should have a Pap Smear done. I hope that you are using condom too since the Birth control pill does not protect you from std's. .
