I am 29 yrs old married with 2 kids. I have a mirena iud and no term. I am tired all the time and have frequent headaches and no sex drive whatsoever.can anyone put these pieces together and narrate me what is wrong with me?

Answers:    Is mirena the IUD that has hormones in it? The one you amendment yearly? I think that's the one that uses progesterone, right?

Any hormones additional to the ones that your body produces inherently can really mess with your libido. Actually, most hormonal forms of birth control (The pill, the patch, the Depo shot, etc) list loss of sex drive as a common side effect. Your doctor should hold mentioned it to you. Perhaps you should make an appt. with them, and speak about your option if this is something that you're having a lot of trouble with.
