I'm on Loestrin 24 Fe (24 days on an active pill, and 4 placebo pills) because I wanted to prevent pregnancy, and also I required to have less bloody periods. My periods are "slightly" smaller amount painful, but they're still pretty bad... resembling, to the point where I'd eventually pass out if I be standing all day (it's happen BEFORE i was on the pill). It's annoying. I mean, I thought the point of the pill be to have less uncomfortable periods? So why do I still feel approaching this? Today is really bad because I'm babysitting and my cramps are terrible!!

Answers:    I never have any less painful period on any birth control I have been on. Now I do not hold my period at all...I bear birth control pill everyday of the year. You may want to ask your doctor about this option. I pocket Yaz and love it.
