I went to the doctor today for my highschool physical and my mom asked the doctor about why Im have seizures and why am I so tierd, she said "Oh because your a teenager" She asked if i want to take a blood examination for anemia. I've been taking iron pills for 3 months so my hemoglobin must of gone up, and right now im at 13.7, is that where on earth I Should be? Im 14, female, 5'5 130 lbs.

Answers:    13.7 hemoglobin is perfectly average for a young girl. It is only massively slightly on the low side, but since you are a girl and have periods once a month, nearby shouldn't be anything to worry about. btw, we don't transfuse blood at our hospital unless the long-suffering is 8 or below.
