"Pins and needles" within foot while on the pill.?

Everytime I go to the doc she asks if I get pins and needles or numbness of my legs while taking the pill. I haven't usually, but I started a new pill more or less 4-5 months ago, and the last week I have been getting really impossible pins and needles in my feet. I get them within the middle of the night, so bad it wakes me up, I even draw from them while I am walking. Am I alright? I know with the pill and smoking I am at risk for blood clots.
P.S. I have been working out a great deal this week, could that have something to do with it?

Are we moving to rapid?

Answers:    Yes, it is possible it could be related to the working out but it sounds like something else could be going on. You could be dealing near something like a problem with the sciatic nerve as a result of the pill (an example only).

I would recommend getting an optional opinion to see what they think could be going on.
