I am scheduled for a Obstetrical Level I / Pelvis ultrasound tomorrow, and I was given these instructions:

One hour prior to exam, available bladder
Begin drinking 24oz. of clear liquid

So, do I drink the 24oz all surrounded by one go, after I empty my bladder prior to the exam? Or do I start drinking 24oz everyday, beforehand emptying my bladder 1 hour prior to exam?
can someone explain? Thanks!

Answers:    When I had my ultrasound I be instructed to drink lots of water about an hour back they performed the examination. So it's probably approaching you said first, empty your bladder and then drink 24 oz of clear juice prior to your exam. .

Its best to empty your bladder before drinking the 24 oz of river. Try to drink the water right before you walk, so you don't have to hold it as long.
