Lately my friend has been really nagative toward me. I bought a really cute top at hollister and she convinced me I look dreadful in it. I got blonde highlights contained by my hair and she told me I should dye my hair to cover it up. Today a guy surrounded by the mall flirted with me and when he departed she said, "Don't get a big head around this. You're not even that cute or skinny."

I thought my weight was average but she's recitation me it's not. Do I really need to lose weight?

Dump her, she is purely going to keep bringing you down when you feel virtuous about yourself. That isn't a friend. She wishes she could have gotten highlights, instead of you, so you wouldnt out shine her, and she wishes the guy flirted near her. If you want you could do that to her to see how she takes it. I had a (not-so-much) friend and she other made me feel horrible about myself, don't permit her continue to do that to you, because it may end near a depression.

I think you friend is feeling for a while bit jealous, even though the things she is saying are not terrifically nice, try to be understanding, maybe she think you're going to stop being her friend and hang around beside someone cooler :) I know it's kind of hard but settle up her some compliments and remind her that she is your best friend. If she still persists confront her about it. And no I don't suppose you need to loose any weight at adjectives, stay confident ;) she's just feeling self-concious.
