My husband has been sterile since 2001 and we haven't used birth control since and I haven't gotten pregnant so I don't judge that there is a chance that I could be pregnant (especially since we get pregnant 2 other times on the first try). Now it is getting close to my period, but they have be sore for close to 2 weeks now, I will probably get my extent in 5-7 days. It just seem to be a long time for period symptoms... So is there anything else that may contribute to breast soreness excluding period or pregnancy?

Answers:    I know you are looking for an answer other than term or pregnancy, but I thought I'd put in my two cents. My breasts are sore from the day I ovulate until the light of day or two after my period ends.I'm a caffeine addict (must enjoy coffee =) ) and I try to scale back a touch during my time of the month since caffeine can increase breast tenderness.

One other possibility might be fibrocystic breast disease. And about the cancer, I also enjoy a family history but malignant tumors typically don't hurt so I wouldn't worry so much in the order of that.

What helps me the most is taking an anti-inflammatory like Motrin or Aleve.

Your husband may have gotten fixed but i know that sometimes it doesnt always work the first time. I work within a pharmacy and the pharmacist asked this guy what kind of surgery he was have and he said he was getting clipped so she started explaining things to him and he cut her off and said he already know the procedure because this will be his second time so go get a pregancy check ma! Good luck! i had this exact problem a year or so ago and went to my doc worried,he examined me n said adjectives was well and it be probably just my hormones(and not just around spell time either!!)he suggested i take evening primrose grease capsules and they worked a treat so i would try that hun hope it works!!
p.s they take a couple of wks to work to start stale with

It could be muscle delicateness, but yeah like a week before my time i breast sometimes hurt really really bad, not nessessary the nipples but just the tissue, hugely sore to touch, i wouldnt worry too much about it, unless your time of year is late. That happens to me adjectives the time. During your ovulation time, your breasts will get sore, and obviously when you're PMS'ing. They could also be growing..
