Is it bad for a girl to use a regular moisturizer as lube when you have nil such as KY at hand? I realize its not as good...but can it make happen infections or anything? Ive heard that it is ok to use normal Vaseline?

are you discussion about in nonspecific or during sex? i would not suggest that you use lotion as a lubricant for any means. you could use Vaseline, but not for sex and especially if you are using condoms. Vaseline is petroleum based and that will break down the latex and can impose the condom to break.

KY is water soluble, Vaseline is not. Moisturizers probably have various additives, most of which are not intended for internal use of any kind. They are probably much more likely to effect irritation. I would not advise using vaseline, moreso, I would say stay away from moisturizer. Invest surrounded by some KY. One more thing to think just about is that moisturizer is probably being used from (a jar) you put your fingers in it, may be dirty, as jar sits here, just bacteria departed behind from hands, have a chance to grow...so infection possibility definitely make sense.

Vaseline is OK . Ky gel is better, but the best thing of all is your own lube.Dont use moisturiser it can sting and contaians lots of ingredients that of late should not be up there.
