Answers:    There must b c bcos in older times ayurveda was only science of medicine ...u should consult a genuine ayurvedic doctor maybe...I have also heard that asanas and pranayams done regularly can help control symptoms of diseases like cancer and can provide some relief from sufferring...I strongly feel that Baba RamDev's Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwaar is doing very active work in trying to control many dreadful diseases through yog and ayurveda..so I think you should contact them -- as numerous ppl in past have also benefitted from thier counsel which is yog and ayurveda based.If possible contact them directly or maybe through some channel helpline where the yog guru gives counsel to people..also I think I should mention that gau motra or cow urine and its products I have heard have helped cancer patients a lot..how much its true I cant say but our traditional Ayurveda considers cow products as having high medicinal value (which is quiet true also) ; also ancient texts talk about such treatments too..so u must find out about such a treatment from Patanjali yogpeeth or another such place which gives gaumotra based treatments ..though such institutions must b rare but u must take direct counsel and treatment from them and not just listen and start doing urselves...when people suffer from diseases they are so desperate and try a million things for relief so there is no harm in trying ayurved, yog and gau motra too as long as u r following expert counsel and having pure unadulterated medicines...I think u should because many a times our modern medical facilities with all thier complications cant help as much as simple traditional ayurveda and yog does..just c for example Swami Ramdeva has already proved this before millions despite so much skepticism and I think your mother should learn some simple yoga routine too as much as her health permits and as per expert advice
