well ima make this short and to the point. im 16 and have these assassin cramps! i started my period in 7th grade but for the closing 2 years they got really bad to the point where i faint 1 or 2 times and i sweat like crazy and really bad cramps every single freakin month. and my moms been knowin cuz i told her and she said the gyno might put me on birth control but she aint gona consent to that happen. i mean, im goin through all this cramp and she wont let me go on BC. so i have to live approaching this til im out??

and her excuse was that "its bad for you".. i dont believe that.

i think she think ima use it for sex with my boyfriend though but she wont tell me that.. yes i've been sexually moving with him but she doesnt know that.

my question is... what can i do? BC is the only piece that can prolly help relieve the pain...and she wont let me dance on it=(

Should I budge on Birth Control?

Answers:    Go to Planned Parenthood. You can get BC without your mom knowing. I used to get awful cramps as resourcefully, and I went on Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo birth control pill and it really helped me with the cramps and made my period more manageable. You may need to pay $$ out of pocket, but if you do not work, you can gain it for free (a) Planned Parenthood. They also do pap smears and all sorts of exams. If you are sexually active, you should have a pap smear/pelvic exam once a year. Good luck :)

or try taking yoga wreak when your more flexible it doesn't hurt your stomach.
but if nothing works then just own a one on one talk with your mom and tell her that it really hurts.

I also had really fruitless cramps whenever I got my period, and on top of that my spell was totally irregular so I never knew when it would be! I told my mom, showed her a calendar I had explicit with how irregular my periods were and how hurting each one was, etc. I think she be impressed by my maturity, and she let me go on the Pill.

Maybe if you're more develop, your mom will take it into serious consideration. If not, Midol was usually able to relieve some of my twinge.

Yu are allowed to get the birth control pill yourself,
If you want to do it, its your choice not your mums.
Just ring up the docs' and ask for an appointment explain to the doctor , she/he will probably take blood pressure and ask a couple of questions give or take a few family history and then will give you the prescription.

There can be side affects if so stir straight to the doctor, and there is a slight increased risk of cancer. that is all.

My vag itches and hurts during sex...

I'm 17 and I own the same thing...passing out, throwing up, completely crying b/c i'm surrounded by unbearable pain for at least 3 days every month. My mom permit me go on birth control, but I was only on it for a month and it made me super depressed to the point of essential suicide and I was mad all the time. It really didn't backing my cramps that much, but I didn't pass out. My mom warned me that those symptoms could occur but I be just so tired of the pain. Has your mom had any discouraging experiences with bc, or is she just one of those people who are against it adjectives together?

Well what I've done that seems to work the best (still doesn't completely makalivepain free) is take 2 aleve with the first signes of any cramps or the actual period starting, and just take more every 6-8 hours. That truly is the just medicine that does anything for my cramps, I was prescribed 4 different pain killer and none of them did as much as Aleve does. And just try to take it easy, relax and try to avoid stress on your length. Hot baths help too.

or you could also go to planned parenthood and procure bc for little to no cost.

I agree with your Mom. Going on birth control can upset the natural balance in your body. You have a delicate web of hormones working together. Adding extra hormones from the pill can throw this rotten, and give you all sorts of problems with your hormones. For the stomach-ache, try Advil during your periods. Within a half hour you'll be pain free. Easy peasy. Or, a more unprocessed method would be to take Calcium and Magnesium supplements one week before your period and throughout your entire time. This combination was suggested to me by my gyne and it really does work. The birth control pill is a hormone, and hormones are very powerful. Don't mess with Mother Nature.

If you are at least possible 16 years of age you can go to your local Planned Parenthood and get on birth control for free without anyone knowing and they brand sure that it is confidential. This is a nice service. Your mom should just let you its not like you are wanting it for other reason. It really does help with the pain specifically the only reason that I am on it too. I would talk to her around it one more time and if the answer doesnt change then at tiniest you tried talking to her and then you need to do what you own to do. Go to Planned Parenthood.
