I have an 18 year old daughterwho is NOT sexually live, and is taking Yaz birth control. It is making her bleed profusley. Has anyone else experienced this on this b.c.? What else can we get her that will not make her bleed? Any assist would be nice. Best answer wins!

I have be on birth control for 2 months, Not Yaz, but something similiar, Tyclin Lo. I did experience more bleeding then usual when i started the pill. The reason that this is going on is because the pill is getting all the bad blood, eggs and blood tissue that be missed before. She is just have a heavy flow, and when you start the pill this usually happends. If it is a huge concern to you and your daughter, go to the doctor and articulate about switching to a diffrent pill, they will also give you a better explanation later i can. Hope i could help =P
