Chunky-ish white vaginal discharge?

Answers:    There is quite a bit of oscillation in how long it takes for a girl to establish the regular menstrual cycle that most women experience in adult years. And even after the menstrual cycle matures and becomes regular, this "regularity" may differ greatly from woman to woman. This irregularity can give you a concern because you touch there is something wrong going on.

So, some understanding about the ordinary variations that occur in untimely adolescence and young adulthood can sustain ease some of the anxiety.

The cycles in the early years after menstruation have begun typically are a few days longer than in adults. In addition, the length of time for irregularity may commonly be longer in these first couple of years.

During the first two years after a girl begins having period, up to 50% of the cycles occur without ovulation. By about 5 years after the kick-off of menses, 80% of the cycles have ovulation occurring within them. Without ovulation, the timing of menstrual cycles is not too predictable which is why periods are so fluctuating during the first two years after they have begun.

There are other reasons why a girl could walk for an extended period of time without a period. However, you can see that it is pretty normal for a girl to have somewhat irregular periods during the first two years of menses. Barring concern for pregnancy or other strength problems that could be a factor in not menstruating, many doctors wait until two period have been missed before doing any significant evaluation for cause.

The most common causes for missed periods within teenagers are pregnancy, stress, and a condition called polycystic ovaries. I would suggest that you talk to your Mum about this and own her call your doctor to discuss this matter in writ that he/she may decide whether or not it is necessary to make an appointment.

Good luck :)

UGH, WTF is wrong next to me??...

For starters - don't wear a tampon when you don't enjoy your period. When you period is irregular you should wear panty liners or pad until you confirm that your period has started.

Another great option for extent protection when you are irregular is a menstrual cup. A menstrual cup is worn like a tampon, but it collects the blood instead of absorbing it, so it is safe to use for an extended time or when your period is amazingly light. You can even use a menstrual cup when you aren't bleeding. Another plus it menstrual cups are reuse-able so it’s good for the environment. Could totally feathery period be a strength...

Don't use tampons when you're not on your period, that's really impossible for your body. If you're worried about a sneak attack, always have pad ready to go, and if you're really worried, wear panty liners when it's getting close to the time you might grasp it. But even if you get it in class, most teachers are especially understanding and will let you go to the restroom. You never know how long it will be since your period's regular. Mine took almost 5 years. As far as tampons go, you'll just have to preserve experimenting til you get it right. If you don't get it in far adequate, that might make you walk funny, or make it hurt when you sit down. It'll rob a while to get it down. You could talk to your school's health lecturer or your mom to learn more.

How in haste do ovarian cysts grow?

Questions just about shaving down there?

IMHO you shouldn't use tampons at this point. You really need to revise what your flow will be like. The best way to do that is start out beside pads and then once you get the droop of it move on to tampons. Besides, it is normal when you first start having your term for it to be irregular. That'll make tampon using even more confusing. If you don't want to take my advice going on for using pads initially then I will also give you suggestions almost tampon use. If it hurts when you try to put it in then you are either nervous and/or too dry. You HAVE to be relaxed or else it won't work properly. I would suggest using the petal type tampons. Either cardboard or plastic. They are more slippery and much more easier to use especially for a beginner. If you use the type (regular tampax cardboard) with an plain end (tampon tip fully exposed) the tampon is gonna absorb every bit of moisture it touches as soon as it touches you which means you'll be dry and again, it'll hurt. Once you capture past the tip the rest is easier to slip in. Make sure you slide it as far as possible. That way you won't get the impression it and you wil be protected faster.
As for sneak attacks...you can't prevent a sneak attack. They can and probably will happen to you throughout your life. The only entity you can do is be prepared. Always carry some sort of protection with you and at least a amend of underwear if possible. If you are really worried about a 'sneak attack' wear a pantiliner just to be on the undisruptive side.
