on all occasions it can break. frequent distraction (sports, horsback riding) tampons might be able to break it, having sex can break it, roomy masturbatory insertions can break it.
If the tampon does break your hymen, it wouldnt really be able to soak up the blood because your hymen is located on part of the vaginal pipe (the tampon is inside you)

yes, it hurts-you would no it if it broke. i have never heard of anybody using a tampon after they own broken their hymen- i would think that would just hurt more- i would in recent times not do that-sounds painful. if you broke the hymen with the tampon-it would hurt so much, any run of the mill girl would remove the tampon, im sure. when your hymen brakes it hurts but also when you go to the washroom it usually burns:S hmm a tampon is to small to brake you hyman and also a finger can break it but it would take alot of physical exertion.
