Help near PMDD! I don't know what to do. I am solitary 19, can I be artificial by PMDD?

My mother was diagnosed with it along next to other depression problems and thyroid etc.I am 19 and moved out of my parents house because of stress issues and thought I would feel less stressed if I have more time to myself. It did not seem to help. My boyfriend lives near me and I do love him. He treats me very well but as most those do he has his flaws. I also go to academy full time and have a full time job so that I can afford my bills. But getting to my point as graceful as my life seems I disgust it 98% of the time. I find myself everyday trying to find that one thing to make me chirpy and I barely ever achieve that aspiration. My problems mostly seem to occur the week until that time my menstrual period and sometimes during. I take the simplest things and throw them process out of proportion. I hate that week and feel that life's pointless. I go and get very depressed and cry for no reason. I quality like everything around me is falling apart. I understand I should contact someone else but I am too afraid. HELP!

It sounds approaching you may have PMDD. Follow the links that Shadow gave you for more research, but most importantly see a doctor. While I other thought I was just a moody individual with bad PMS I finally found a gynecologist who really talk to me about my symptoms and how they were affecting me.

About 6 months ago I be diagnosed with PMDD and decided to pass Yaz a try. My life and attitude has completely changed! I also lug it continuously for 4 packs at a time (no placebo pills) so that I only own a period every 3-4 months or so. Another thing I've done is to exercise roughly an hour every day and I take a really great soft multi-vitamin which is loaded with B vitamins. I have so much more life!

Your doctor will definitely want to rule out other problems, such as a thyroid or psychological disorder. It's also very probable your problems are at least somewhat related to stress - full-time student WITH a full-time job! That's a great deal on your plate! I only worked part-time while I be a student and sometimes that was too much to handle.

I've found that 5htp has help me. I take 50mg each darkness then another 50mg in the morning surrounded by the run up to my period starting. The mood swings have enhanced and so has the crying.

You can also try taking vitamin B6 and Magnesium.

Avoid all caffeine as this make the irritability worse and try to avoid junk and too much sugar.
