My Mirena IUD fell out today--I'm really disappointed because I was looking forward to not having to verbs about birth control for 5 years--my Dr. said I could try to put it back within but there is a chance of it falling put money on out. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

A doctor or nurse has to do it lower than strictly sterile conditions
Get a doctor to put in another one and cut off the threads, short to prevent tugging.
Sometimes they can be pulled out beside tampons
