Yes it can make you more emotional. I have this problem for a few days when I took Yasmin. When I took my B Complex I was ok again.

I find that taking B6 in any a bottle by itself or as part of a bottle of B Complex helps near the emotional aspect such as with individual on the pill.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they utter.
