Does an ovarian cyst operation hurt??
Also does it take a long time to do and how big is the insion.Ummm Im getting this done tomarrow what and where do they do this operation I would like to know gratitude
Answers: As a nurse I'm surprised they didn't explain this to you. Often they use a special scope to look inside so they don't need to make a big incision. You can expect to own 2-3 or more small incisions (one usually being in the belly button) where they insert the scopes. Hard to enunciate how long the operation takes until they look inside. You will be in the recovery room after the surgery and they will confer you pain medication through an IV line in your arm. I consider the procedure will be outpatient, so you won't have to spend the night, but I hope they told you this already. Often people own pain from the air put into your belly so the doctor can see around. It will go away within a few days, and it helps if you can walk around as soon as possible. They should send you home near a prescription for pain medication. They should also make sure you can urinate after surgery before they consent to you go. Good luck tomorrow!

no don't worry one bit, i had a huuuuuge one when i be in seventh grade, i'm 17 now, it's no big traffic. i had to miss the whole last week of university [including exams, which was great]. you wont feel a thing, they put you to sleep and they do four incisions, one through your bellybutton which is totally invisible [plus i get mine pierced anyway which reallly hides anything that MIGHT show], and they do two on either side like influential down towards that "area", and then one right in the top of the hair strip. the scars and VERY small and you can really barely see mine anymore at all, and that be like, four or five years ago. just get some maderma for scar and that will help. right after, you probably wont be able to sit up in bed, because you'll own abdominal pain, almost like when you do a million crunches and then cant sit up straight lacking it hurting. be sure not to drink water in the morning or any more tonight, or eat any more food. flawless luck! i suggest you get a remote with fresh batteries because thats where on earth you will be parked for the next week or so... right in front of the t.v. =] Source(s): PERSONAL experience with a HUGE ovarian cyst.Does anyone else own similar HPT problems?...
They might run through your belly button which would be much faster for a recovery time. I had one twenty seven years ago and it was a bikini cut, scarcely noticeable after all of these years. I had staples and they pinched coming out, but not too doomed to failure. I was nauseous from the anesthesia and that is what I remember as anyone the worst part.You may have to curtail your driving and lifting. I could not do either for six weeks after my operation, but after again, lets hope that things have advanced medically since that time. It does not take a long time, so not be afraid and devout luck!

All I can say is it would hurt a hell of a lot worse if you let it burst.Pretty sure they donate you anesthetics. No worries, time won't matter while your in their platter.
