I stopped the pill on 4/7. Started bleeding on 4/10. Doctor said that since it was a week long and INCREDIBLY heavy, it be an actual period, not breakthrough bleeding. Had positive ovulation tests on 4/27 - 4/28. That's around mid-cycle. Do you think I'll get my time soon? 28 days would be 5/7. I don't know if it'll be a 28 day cycle, but I want to have some standard idea of when it'll come because I'm going on vacation May 9-13th. I own not actually "wanted" to have my length this much since I was like 12 and thought I be weird b/c I was the solitary girl in my click that didn't have it nonetheless lol.

I know they say "give it up to 3 months to capture back to normal". But I'm not looking for a text book answer here. With MY situation and the info I've given you, what do you estimate?

You'll probably start it about a month after you had what your doctor said be your period. Around 5/10ish...I'd say.

I know that stopping the pill lead to bleeding once you stop. Your bleeding on 4/10 might be from that and may not even be a period at all...your doctor does know best though. This is just my opinion.

I know a woman who was on the pill for 5 years and finally have a period 6 months later. I be on Ortho Tri Cyclen (OTC) (got off because of the side effects too..ug!) and my period started as a rule and stayed on the same track as when I was on the pill. But my term started doing some weird things a few months later... It alternated between 35 to 25 days for my cycle. It be weird. I hated OTC...gain weight, grew 2 cup sizes, mood swings...

All in adjectives, if you're like I was, you'll start it around the time your ultimate pill-induced period was. Otherwise, it'll probably start a month after your length on 4/10. Hope your cycle normalizes soon for you. :) I know how annoying that 12 yr old outlook can be.

EDIT: Yes! The soreness was UNBEARABLE!
