I know what you mean give or take a few swallowing pills- I used to be just like that. But after I had to start taking pills every day, and I get used to it QUICK. I can now swallow 4 or 5 huge ones at a time.I try to keep contained by mind that you swallow pieces of food WAY bigger than BC pills. They really are very tiny.
Pills are the best option. They hold the most types available and with the least problems. Sure nearby are risks of gaining weight, or hormonal issues (some can cause you moody), but all you have to do is verbalize to your doctor (I suggest getting a gyno as opposed to just a family unit physician), and they will switch you pills until you find one that works great for you. I used to take Yasmin and I loved it, it just didn't get my periods quite as short as I considered necessary them so, I'm now trying Monessa (generic). I just started that one so I can't put in the picture you how good it is. But Yaz is supposed to be great too.
The shot is not suitable for anyone in my inference. I don't know why it's on the market. It actually begin to thin your bones after you've been on it for a few years- it's not designed for long term use. It can really screw up your period, and can make you have symptoms that are simply like early pregnancy symptoms.
The patch is okay from what I've hear, but I'd still probably choose BC pills over it. I don't know much about the patch so, I won't say anything on this one.
The ring is supposedly really right, from what I've heard. But I think the inserting and taking it out (and remembering) would be really annoying, especially for a younger girl (in their teens anyways- which I'm assuming you are). Even I wouldn't remember that. lol
Also, when you first start BC pills they are especially easy to forget. What I do, is I set an alarm on my cellphone for the time I'm supposed to take them. So that go off every day and I never forget. I hold forgotten to take them at the moment many times though. I'll remember close to 3 or 4 hours later, and just run it then. I've never had a problem next to that before so, don't freak out if that happens to you. I'm sure you'll be fine.

The patch has alot more risks then the pill, and conceivably that is why she didn't offer it to you. Now a days, various woman are choosing the pill because it has less risks, and side affects. Maybe you should consult to your doctor about getting the birth control shot. I have trouble swollowing pills as in good health, but the ***** control pill is VERY small, and i have no problem swolling it. If you are set on not taking the pill, go fund to your doctor and ask her if you could have another type of birth control.

She should enjoy given you other options. The only item with the mirena iud is that they recommend you only own it inserted if you have had kids, otherwise nearby are more complications with it. But I can tell you, it is the best birth control method ever because you don't own to remember to take a pill everyday, or to change a patch or a ring, and no side effects similar to gaining weight approaching with the shot.I don't know why she wouldn't offer other option! Not sure if it's available where you are but in that is a chewable pill out called Femcon FE..Also, if it matters, birth control pills are extremely tiny - I enjoy trouble with a lot of other, larger pills but no issues beside swallowing a BCP because they are so small.
I have had a headache in the butt time of swallowing pills, however BCP's are very especially small and easy to swallow.
What I do, is get a cup of water. Place the pill on the back of your throat, consequently tilt your head back and drink the cup of water. The pill WILL go down. Its super tiny so its super unproblematic.
Whatever u decide to do...Please don't get the shot. All of the horror stories you've probably read roughly it on here are true! I thought it wouldn't affect me as bad cause I've be on several different types of bc pills and NEVER had ANY side effects. I was so wrong. Its get me a total wreck and my body is freaking out! Just a well intended warning. If you own trouble with the pills, maybe the ring is a fitting option for you.
