I started taking birth control pills to regulate my period. I took the first one on a tuesday and have taken them regularly except for one pill I missed it but took it the subsequent day. I have just had unprotected sex once but used the pull out method for protection, as it turns out it be a day that I was fertile, however, its thorny to say since I had be irregular for the past 6 weeks. I was suppose to start my extent on the 12 (yesterday), I am taking the sugar pills but now I have merely brownish spotting with light cramping. Is this average or is it a side effect of the birth control or possible pregnancy?
