When a girl is menstruating, why...?

is it called getting ur "period" ?

Answers:    Because they're "periodic", that is to say they occur at regular intervals (usually).
Just another fabulous description for a female's affliction. just a label, like "time of the month", "bloody mary", or "red alert".
Maybe its because you find it periodically? because it's the "period" of time every month when a woman menstruates.
I prefer "a visit from Aunt Flo."
