Answers:    Getting a 6-pack for a girl takes deeply of work...it's nearly impossible to do it in 40 days. Girls naturally store fat surrounded by the area above their abs (possibly because of childbearing?) and this is very difficult to get rid of, also because of hose retention. My suggestion would be that you go to a gym and have a trainer set you up a program in charge to build the muscle. Often times if you go to the gym for the first time they will give you a complimentary training session, so this could be cheap (not including the actual subscription to the gym.) Generally most people do not do crunches correctly when they do them on the floor within their homes, so the trainer can show you machines and methods in order to help you draw from closer to your goal (try using a workout ball in lay down to help the lower back issue.) However, do not set unrealistic expectations for yourself...beauty doesn't come surrounded by 40 days...don't become unhealthy in order to take a 6-pack. You are beautiful just the way you are...6-pack or not.

Cardio is devout, but wont help. Same with diet and drugs. You can try iso exercises like crunches. Lie on the floor, or flash on a bed and sit up to about 30 degrees, lift your legs to just about 10 degrees such that your butt is the only thing touching the ground. you should discern the muscles tighten in the stomach. Hold the position till you feel the burn for a bit and relax. Repeat in sets of 20 or so and relax. do this a few times a sunshine along with typical crunches and you should be on your way.
