Having period every 2 weeks?

Answers: Periods that are too frequent (more habitually than every 28 days also called "metrorrhagia") can be related to several predisposing factor:
* If the periods are otherwise conventional, then a short "luteal phase" or insufficient ovarian production of progesterone may be responsible.
* If the period are inconsistent, then dead loss to ovulate and the resulting anovulatory bleeding may be responsible.
* If the periods are in actual fact normal and once a month, but near are episodes of bleeding in between the period, then powered factors such as fibroids or polyps may be responsible.
* Women near hyperthyroidism are classically described as experiencing frequent, heavy period. They, in trueness, rarely show that stencil, but we usually screen these patients for thyroid disease anyway.
I've experienced frequent period too in times past that was cause by ovarian cysts.
There could be other causes for the frequent period you are experiencing and I would recommend you see your doctor/gyno for further evaluation to see what they think could be cause this.

I have a problem similar to this. My period be lasting 3 weeks at a time.
I could not cart it anymore and went to the dr. She put me on birth control to regulate my time of year. And the birth control has help with my cramps and bleeding.

sometimes it can evolve, it often cause by hormonal imbalance. When cramp persist it seem not normal. Better walk to see doctor (gynecology).
