It could be tested for and it is glib to treat...you must see a doctor for a definitive diagnosis Hypothyroidism is a condition where your thyroid doesn't produce adequate hormone. Ususaly caused by inheritance but lifestyle can contribute. Dx is made by drawing blood and checking the T3 and T4 levels within your blood. When and if you go to a dr. and want tested for this condition spawn sure they check the T3 and T4. It is treated generally beside a pill which you will have to own blood levels checked until the correct dose is found.
