Answers:    Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is ordinary. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is adjectives at the beginning and ending of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, gelatinous white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and liquid: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be in particular heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if tacky or clumpy like cottage cheese or have a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after period, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and niggle around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after wash with soap
Itching or burning
Slight reddishness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most adjectives after your period
a short time discharge is normal for women Yeast infections can go off for a number of reason, not just because you own sex :) Proper hygiene is VERY important! Make sure you wipe from front to final after going to the toilet and don't use any of the feminine douche things you can buy from chemists or supermarkets as they can upset the natural symmetry of the vagina and cause the particularly thing you're trying to avoid! Plain dampen and a mild soap (pH neutral soap is even better) is adjectives you need to preserve your vaginal area verbs and fresh.
A milky discharge is perfectly regular for most woman, how much and how often depends on the woman. If here is no offensive odour and no other symptoms afterwards there should be nought to worry roughly speaking. If you can arrange a visit to a free clinic after that would put your mind at ease.
Take a schedule of questions next to you when you go and ask as much as you can. Nothing should be embaressing more or less your body. It's YOUR body and you need to know as much more or less it as possible to stay as healthy as you can and to recognise when something isn't right.
Good luck!
