also, i'd similar to to point out that it's the culture and that not all women hold that done to them, but the ones that don't sometimes have a special christen that i hear has particularly bad connotations. but they probably cogitate cutting approachable a woman's breasts and filling them near bags of silicone is disgusting, so don't adjudicate other cultures because of their practices. you may not agree with them, but that's what they do and enjoy been doing for a long time, you can't of late expect them to stop

i dont think they remove the clitoris, basically the "hood" around it to make it more sensitive. still sounds terrifying though! Please help the discontinuation of the use of this erroneous occupancy female "circumcision". it is really womanly MUTILATION. Female "circumcision" in the truest sense would be removal of the clitoral hood.. What relatives are referring to when they generally tell about the heinous practice contained by the Eastern world is MUTILATION and shouldn't have a "nice" connotation.
the clitoris is removed to remove a woman's sexual pleasure, and it is a form of brutal mutilation. it have nothing to do next to periods - that's a different nouns of the vagina. as is the urethra. It's a terrible, horrible, disagreeable thing to do to women. It's also call "Female Genital Mutilation".

There are a few different ways of doing it. the most mild one that they only cut the hood of the clitoris (in matching fashion the foreskin is cut from a penis), but the worst man that the clitoral hood, the clitoris itself (what gives a woman pleasure), and the inner labia are removed. Then, the outer labia are sewn together, and they give only a drastically small hole for urine and menstration.

Basically it's mutilation and illegitimate in almost every country, even so some consider it like a rite of hall and necessary to become a woman. They can still enjoy a period. What happen is that part of the labia is removed and the clitoris is removed. There are different types though, 4 if I remember correctly, and that depends on what happen next. In most cases though it is sewn up beside only a small together to allow menstrual blood and urine to escape. It's horrific to read about. They still do it contained by 3rd world countries and countries that are mostly Muslim. Here in the Us is it is outstandingly illegal though.
It's done because its supposed to obtain rid of all sexual gratification for the woman. Their thinking is that if she can't be unworried that she will wait for her matrimonial bed and will not stray from it.
